Review Taste Of Bengal - Astoria

They serve fresh and delicious food. Employees are friendly. Their online delivery reaches always in time. About food quality and quantity according to price, just worth it. Restaurant environment is calm and very clean. As a regular customer I would recommend, visit 'Taste of Bengal' with friends and family. you gonna definitely love their food.

Hands down the BEST Chana Masala (Vegan) in Astoria. I simply can't get enough of it. IMHO a perfect balance and a pleasure to my taste buds. It is light yet fulfilling and if you like and make it spicy you are in for a treat. I usually order for pickup but decided to stop by these past days. Much to my surprise they had expanded! I am so happy to see local family businesses thrive. Worth saying well deserved judging on how accommodating Ruhel and family are (Even bringing the order at curbside when my wife was driving with kids). If that is not top customer service, I do not know what it is then. But all in all, excellent food and I am a fan! Best wishes to this family and business! UPDATE 08.15.2018 - After four more restaurants, two in Astoria and one (excellent) in Miami and one in Tampa, ToB is still THE BEST Chan's Masala (Vegan). Added Daal Poori to my repertoire This is the tally so far: #2 Ashoka Indian Restaurant Miami (very close though) #3 Tikka Indian Grill

Ordered pick for pick up, noticed the clean and cozy ambiance. Owners were nice! Food was tasty and reasonably priced for the area as well. I had the change masala, chicken samosa, and manga lassi. Great spot for a date if I'm ever not single.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area hands down! The food is absolutely amazing and never disappoints. The meat is always tender and flavorful, vegetable dishes are also delicious! It's a quiet and cozy little gem and the owner/staff is super sweet. If you like authentic Indian food, come here! Service is always perfect and seriously.. the food is sooo good.

I am so glad to have finally given this local restaurant a chance. Their food is fresh, never greasy, very flavorful, and we haven't had any misses so far. Whether vegetarian, poultry or seafood based, everything has been really delicious. After trying their fish tikka and aloo gobi mataar, and delicious naan, we have had chicken saag, chicken vindaloo and mulligatawny soup. The raita and tamarind sauces were perfect compliments to the meal. Next, I'd like to try lamb and goat dishes. They offer lunch specials. It's a small business that deserves support for the quality they provide. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Had multiple deliveries from this place, everytime it was great. We tried most of their curry, the chicken korma is amazing, lamb too very generous in the meat portion, very large naan to go with. Really delicious. Not sure we want to go dine in, this kind of food when delivered is not loosing anything. Some curry are spicy as advertised they remain balanced and the flavor is there. Only one down about this place is their chesse naan, the cheese part is really not tasty and we had much better one from other places. Maybe stick to the regular naan, they're already delicious.

Loved the food, plenty of options that I haven't seen at other Indian restaurants. Great presentation, room for strollers, and great service. Food was excellent. Can't wait to take my parents next time they're in town. Different experience than Seva, but I enjoyed it and look forward to coming back.

what a hidden gem - EASILY one of the best food spots in new york (of any kind). well balanced (and generous) portions of every item, fresh and consistent at any time of the day, and all the flavors/textures are impressively well done.

Delicious authentic Bangladeshi food! Great service and interesting wall paintings. It’s been hard to find a restaurant that actually caters authentic Bangladeshi dishes. Most other Resturant say “Indian, Bangladesh, Pakistani food” but the food is usually strictly Indian style dishes. Was really nice to find a place with food you would find on your moms table in Bangladesh. Now I actually have a place to take friends when they want to try Bangladeshi food!😋 Awesomeness!😁

Best Bengali food in New York, hands down. A lot of amazing vegetarian dishes. Everything is fresh, unique, and home made! GO HERE! Especially if you don’t venture out of your normal food options.
