This has been our go to Mexican for close to a decade because it's close, but more importantly it's always good. The ingredients taste fresh and the seasoning isn't heavy handed so you can appreciate the ingredients. The staff are friendly and we like the look and feel of dining area. We haven't explored the drinks much because we usually carry-out but the bar looks well stocked and I expect they make a mean margarita because people dining in always have them. I'm glad they made it through the lockdowns. I need the spicy pork tacos in my life.
Update: Did the 2 hour brunch with my wife and a friend and we had a blast. The food was great and the margaritas were delicious and our host was friendly and fun. We were a little disappointed that there are no ceviche options on the brunch menu, but I'm sure it's because of cost. Would have been nice to have at least one round included, but we weren't too bothered by it. We still left feeling like we got our money's worth and will do it again sometime for sure. Presentation of the food was great too.
We have been eating at the Sunnyside location for more than a decade and only just found out about this location, we ran right over.
Everything we love about the De Mole we know and love is omnipresent here.
The largest departure is the ceviche which given it’s name makes sense. We ordered the Veracruz and a number of tacos for lunch on our first visit.
The ceviche was delicious and full of fish, with just the right balance of acidity.
The tacos were of course excellent.
One of there promotions is an all inclusive bottomless brunch. While tempting, we drove so it wasn’t going to work on this visit but it seems like quite the deal.
When the waiter learned it had been my birthday the past week he brought a couple of additional small plates for us to enjoy. Also delicious!
This new (to us) outpost delivers on the every front and a great addition to the neighborhood.
Incredible food. Used to come here years ago and came back since I was in Astoria. The food is still as good and the service is still great
Dropped in for a quick drink and snack while waiting to meet up with someone. This place is so cute! The service was awesome, the passion fruit sour was amazing, the margarita strong, and the calamari delicious and crisp! Overall had a great time, and plan on going back soon. Check this place out!
Came here on a Friday afternoon was absolutely wonderful. The service was amazing very attentive and informed us about the specials. The food was DELICIOUS. We got nachos, ceviche, enchiladas, and fish. Yummy! Not to mention they make great drinks too. Luis was very kind, and helpful. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience!! This is a neighborhood gem. Most of the negative reviews are because of price change. All I could tell is that these reviewers do not have the slightest clue about our current economic situation. Sorry guys, everything has gone up in price, you can't go blaming a small business trying to stay afloat. Look around you, even your rent is up. But I digress, this is the most authentic Mexican food in thr neighborhood, too bad this hood can't appreciate .
Great food at a great price. This is the family go to spot on Friday evenings. The food is traditional and delicious. Sincronizadas are wonderful - crispy and delicious. Staff is friendly and welcoming. It's all comfort food!
Update spring 2023 - still my favorite Friday night spot. Food is fantastic and staff are friendly. Burritos, ceviche, sincronizadas, salad, enchiladas and fajitas. Wonderful!
Good food and great service. Our waiter started testing his new menu bar drinks on us and brought the table samples for us to tell him what we think. They were all amazing and we got a little more drunk than we expected. Thanks for making us feel like part of your restaurant family!
I came here the other day for the first time and I had a very nice experience. Nachos (chicken) were very delicious. Love them! Can’t wait to order more. The flan de coco was very exquisite too! The employee was very respectful and kind. I will definitely come back again.
