Mokja - Astoria - Photo album

I remember dining in at this place even before moving to Astoria and that’s when I immediately fell in love with their food. The service, the attention to detail, friendly but very clean environment adds up to a highly satisfying experience. As a Korean who was born and raised in Korea, I can conf
The delicious smell lured me into the by activating my hunger. My nose wasn't wrong even though I don't like spicy hot foods, especially at night. I didn't want a big meal, so I ordered the Seafood Tofu Stew 😋. I asked for mildly spicy and it was perfect 👌. It wasn't pricey.
Love this place. All of the food was delicious and they also give you fruit infused water instead of the regular tap water. There’s outside space to sit as well. Would definitely recommend.
Good, tasty Korean food. Reasonably priced. A bit small portions. Staff was nice. Enjoyed my experience overall.
Whenever I think about Korean food I usually go to this place. Today I had marinated pork spare ribs and army stew. Amazing!! I like their white rice too.
Mokja is one of the most romantic restaurants I have ever went! Not only the modern style Korean food is delicious, the atmosphere is romantic and comfortable! The best place to meet your boy or girl friend or hang out with a small group of friends!
Had one of the best dining experiences here! The food was delish and the service was top notch. Loved the beautiful decor. Lee the owner came out to greet us and what a lovely woman she is! She checked in on us and made sure we were happy w our meal. Made us feel like family. The iced coffee was
The people that work at this restaurant are the kindest people. The service is incredible and they really make you feel so welcome. A rare sweetness in New York! The food is great as well. I really love the fried chicken and the hot stone bibimbap. Thank you!
My go-to Korean spot in the neighborhood for delicious takeout. Kimchi soondubu is my favorite. Also great are the dduk gguk, pajeon, and mandu. Comes with some banchan. Very nice owner.
Beautiful restaurant, I sat near the owner & she was delightful! We talked about the restaurant, how business is going & menu options.
Very good affordable Korean food. Went there twice and they had added even more food on the next time. The waitresses are extremely kind and the food was delicious and well displayed. The interior has a cozy vibe to it which I really liked and although small in size, it’s really a great place to din
Our first time there tonight and the ambiance was so beautiful, the music was cool and relaxing and everything about the experience was amazing. We had the chicken dumplings, hot stone bibimbap, marinated short rib dinner box and it was all delicious. The service was great from Tina and the rest of
I had the immense pleasure of dining at Mojka, a hidden gem of a Korean restaurant nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Astoria tonight. From the moment we entered, we were embraced by warm and attentive service, along with an aroma that left our taste buds tingling in anticipation. The menu at M
A casual and chill spot to eat. The dim lights are nice and relaxing! The lady that served me was so kind and welcoming. My food choice was Kimchi Fried Rice with egg and chicken. Had some fries and Shrimp Tempura. It was delicious 😋!
Very cute atmosphere. Great spot for small groups and a date. Great selections of Makgeolli, which is rice wine served in a kettle on top of ice with lights inside. I tried the banana flavor it was the perfect dessert wine after feasting on the kimchi fried rice and griled pork belly.
really like the food, ambience AND service here. it's rare to find a spot that does well at all three. ordered bibimbap, wings and teokbokki and all were delicious. Staff were so attentive, kind and professional! PLUS they have these beautiful little lights everywhere that makes it so cozy and prett
I live in the area and I've had Mokja many times before but this was my first dine in experience. I went in early evening and the restaurant was not full. I'd say that they had a moderate crowd. We were sat immediately and from then on it was business as usual. Ordered delicious food. Eat said food.
Cute little restaurant with lights and good vibes. A wide variety of Korean/Asian food for selection. Service was superb. We were offered hand sanitizer and wet tissues to clean our hands. However, I would recommend they fix their physical menu because it is really hard to read it with the lights re
i ordered their mandoo (fried pork dumplings), kimchi fries, and army stew (kimchi flavored broth with ramen and an assortment of vegetables and spam). the mandoo came out fresh and tasted pretty good. i typically prefer a slightly thinner dumpling skin fried more crispy, but the meat/filling was go
