This is an amazingly beautiful restaurant. It’s a very casual steak house offering many sandwich and burger options. I had a short rib sandwich special served with an onion ring inside and a jack’s steak sandwich. Both were very good. I though the short rib was a little better. Our appetizer was the in house smoked bacon which was very delicious.

We were a group of seven and we were seated promptly. Our server, Shannon was excellent. I started with the biscuits and they were great. I also had the beet salad which I really enjoyed. My entree was the omelette and it was delicious. Some of the other entrees at our table were steak and eggs, corned beef hash, short ribs and a gigantic burger. Everyone was satisfied.

The place was simply spectacular. Could not have asked for more. The bacon with the syrup and peanut on the side was amazing. The mash potatoes was nice and buttery and smooth and tasted like cloud of brilliance. The lamb chops were so good I wanted to leave them on the plate after tasting the first one but I was not successful. The biscuits were butter soft and the maple butter made them heavenly. The french fries were mmmmmm mmmmmm good. The biscuit with the chicken was just magnificent. The staff was A one everyone was friendly and helpful to accomplish having a full belly full of amazingness. The drinks were amazing and helped with my digestion. The mock butcher shop in the middle of the restaurant reminded me where I was after every chew. I shall return. This is a MUST.....UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

This place is great. The service was amazing and the Manager is a great guy. Unfortunately, one of our 5 steaks wasn't cooked the way the person wanted but the wait staff and manager did right by us. Thank you again.

This was our first visit to Uncle Jack's Meat House and also happened to be the restaurant's first day offering brunch. While we planned to try this new spot anyway, the brand new brunch menu was a nice surprise! Our server Nicole was very personable and knowledgeable about the restaurant. We both had a delicious Bloody Mary that was perfectly spicy. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles served with bacon, fresh whipped cream, and warm maple syrup. I had my heart set on a burger and tried the Oooey Gooey Mooey Burger (bacon jam & blue cheese fondue) served with house made pickles and seasonal veggies and french fries. Delicious! We'll definitely be back to explore the lunch and dinner menus as well as to sample some of their many enticing cocktails. My only suggestion is to add the Chicken and Biscuit sandwich to the brunch menu.

An absolute MUST when in Astoria!!! Beautiful decor and great atmosphere. Such a unique place to dine. Service and staff- exceptional! The spare ribs and bacon were out of this world! Everything cooked to perfection. Make sure to check out the speakeasy downstairs! Such a cool vibe and the DJ was awesome. It tops off the whole experience!!! Can't wait to bring my family here! We just there for for drinks and appetizers but ended up having a full meal the food and drinks from start to finish was fantastic!. Spoke with the Manager April Rose Lucas and gave her my compliments on the service and food. Eventually she came with the In House Hickory Smoked Bacon with Housemade Peanut Butter and a Chipotle Maple Glaze. It was Phenomenal! We had the Crab and Avocado Mini Tacos and Jack's Steak Sandwich. Both were excellent! BTW the Bacon was on the house. When visiting Uncle Jack's Meat House ask for the manager April, tell her we sent you and she will give something for you at your table.

Amazing! So glad we found our friend Brian L (GM) was in NYC while we were on our vaca. Mike (our server) was fantastic! The bacon app was outstanding! I asked Mike about doing my ribeye "Pittsburgh".. he got it and so did kitchen... amazing!! Oh, there's a speakeasy downstairs that opens late.. too many ++++ to mention!!

I've waited a while to come here. First and foremost, the staff is amazing! The experience and attention you get really make you feel like family! We placed our orders and the waiter and floor manager came over to us multiple times, apologizing about the long wait time though we didn't really notice. When the food finally did come, it was lukewarm. Surprising it was still awesome tasting though. And great suggestion from the waitress, the bacon was stupendous. Should have ordered 2 despite there only being 3 of us.
After we finished our meal, the manager once again came over to apologize about the wait and offered us a round at the speakeasy downstairs; though we intended to go there on our own anyway. Super nice of him. From this experience, I will totally go back

Jack's Meat house is arguably one of the best meat houses in Astoria and New York. If you want steak of any kind Strip, Choice, Primes, Waygu, Filet or Ribeye, this is the best place to get it. They cook it to your preferred temperature. They also have amazing sandwiches and burgers( I prefer Jack's steak burger). Very friendly servers. Ask for Chef Marvin, he's dope. What are you waiting for?

I tried Kobe Beef for the first time at Uncle Jacks, it was a whole EXPERIENCE. The staff was overly accommodating, our server Melissa was very attentive and nice, the chef personally came out to speak with us about our preferences and the Manager Joe hooked us up with a table at the speakeasy downstairs and also gave us their special BBQ sauce and salt. All in all they made our night pretty sweet. Definitely going back soon.

This place is great for large parties and has a super cool vibe. The food is a little pricey but as you can see be portions are enormous so you could easily split something. The cocktails are great and the bar looks really cool. This would make a great date place. We hosted a group of friends visiting NYC and they were really impressed with the food and venue. I was also pleased because I have a blue cheese allergy and even though there were several blue cheese items on the menu the waiter and kitchen made sure my meal had no blue cheese so that was really appreciated. We will definitely be going here again.

We came in purely by chance since it was pouring buckets outside. The atmosphere was very cool with the low lighting and the butcher shop related decor. Both of us ordered burgers and loved them, so messy but so delicious. I had the ooey-gooey one and my friend really liked the mushrooms and swiss. We also ordered the biscuit which was disappointingly dry and dense. The corn creme brulee was very fun, a little too sweet but an enjoyable novelty side. Great place to wander into for a solid meal to keep you full!

2nd visit and people we were not disappointed food and service were top notch ! Had the Beef Wellington could have cut it with a butter knife as for taste it was spot on ! My wife had the grilled Branzino very tender and flavorful.
The apps were of course amazing that smokey bacon OMG ! The grilled octopus and the iberian ham to die for !
Not to mention the the great bottle of wine that huge piece of coconut cake, chocolate souffle coffee what more can you ask for.
