The food here is decent. Its presentation is good but more spices/flavors are needed. The good part is you wont leave feeling heavy or overstuffed. Just ask for hot sauce salt and pepper so you can fix your food.

The smoked salmon with egg was really good! Also, the Tiramisu - YUM. The eggs Benedict was really small and my friend was disappointed by that. But overall, very relaxed atmosphere, loved the huge windows and natural lighting.
Amazing service! Waitress really knew her stuff and really helped me pick something even with my intolerances. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was just perfect! I know a lot of places have calamari, but it's usually just average. I got the sea bass for dinner and it was just divine!!
HIGHLY recommend. The carbonara was unreal, as were the zeppole. A great brunch spot in Astoria that wasn’t too crowded or overpriced.

We had a great brunch today at Gastroteca. The place is full of light. It was 11 of us and everyone enjoyed the drinks and the food, which came out all at once and was very good, something lately doesn't happen in many restaurants.
