Cevabdzinica Sarajevo - Astoria - Photo album

Food was great and service was kind. Best cevapi I’ve ever had! Would also recommend the stuffed peppers. I have to go back and try the stuffed cabbage next time!
Great food, good service will definitely come again. I'm not Serbian/Romanian but my ex was and introduced me to his culture and food and I've always loved and had a deep admiration for it. It's a lil rough if you don't speak the language, but they were kind. All that was missing was a good cold bee
Maybe I was just hungry or did not eat Ćevapčići in a while, but for me this were the best Ćevapčići ever outside the former Yugoslavia!
Ugh so so good. I was there last week, it just hits the spot. The ladies are so friendly, their bureks are also nice so don’t sleep on them. But qebapa are the show stoppers here, amazing and delicious!!!
Better off paying cash here and avoid the baklava; Cevapi were great though, highly recommend.
Super friendly staff:) Great Balkan food.
Absolutely delicious food and dessert. My Bosnian friend recommended this to me and the food was so fresh and cooked with best homemade sauce. There desert was amazing and had a unique taste. Definitely will be here again.
I visited for the first time today and ordered the burek, cevapi combo, and baklava. The owner is welcoming and helpful especially when you are are new to Bosnian cuisine and unsure of what to get. The food was delicious! We will definitely be returning. This restaurant has been around forever a
Visit of this place reminded me of my trip to Balkans - I love Sarajevo and when I saw the sign I could not help entering and trying this place. I did not get disappointed! I took the food to go but while I was waiting I talked a bit with the owner - adorable old man and I remembered hospitality of
really good cevapi and burek were tasty too. love the ladies who work here
Probably the best Bosnian cuisine and "cevapi" (minced beef meat) in Astoria (maybe even wider!). Ajvar (a condiment/spread made from a roasted and peeled red peppers) is not my cup of tea at this place, and that's the only thing that I would change. Too acidic and tasteless, in my opinion. The brea
Tastes truly like in Sarajevo, but the service is much better :) A must have for (ex-)yugo people to taste some food from home :) Don't forget to try the sweets!
After 2 years of leaving Sarajevo and as a person who had Bosnijak and Balkan food at almost everywhere in and out of Bosnia, I can say that I felt like I was eating in Sarajevo. Everything was delicious and the servers were very friendly like all the other Balkan people. I will keep coming.. thanks
This is a good Bosnian restaurant that you can find some Bosnian specialities. I tried cevapi over there and the taste was good. In addition the portions were big. People working over there are smiling and they are offering a ward sincere service. I recommend this place to anybody.
So happy to find this spot to enjoy some Bosnian food! Close to the R, F and M train in Astoria. My husband is Croatian and when we are in Dubrovnik my mother in law cooks some of pur favorites and coming here, I had Burek of course, but to my surprise wasn't exactly what I was expecting...the mince
A mom and pop shop for sure. Felt like eating home cooked food. The food was really delicious, and authentic. But the stuffed peppers needed much more salt while the home platter needed much less salt. Everyone there besides me was Bosnian so you know it's the real deal. Pretty pricey though about $4
