Sweet Afton - Astoria - Photo album

Had my baby shower here in the back area and it was great! We had about 17 adults and three kiddos under 5, and the space fit us well. My guest loved the food and service was great from the second we arrived. We had about five platters of food, which fed everyone with a little left over. Our party w
Always great service when I go here! Decent brunch menu. I get the green eggs & ham when I go. Eggs are supper fluffy. I wish they had brunch specials just to have a few different options but not a big deal. Very cozy environment as well.
Sweet Afton is one of my favorite bar and restaurants here in Astoria. The Philly Steak Patty Melt is a must have. The staff here has always been awesome. & now they have expanded their bar with the opening of Sidekick, where you can continue to the cocktails next door.
Don't sleep on the Sweet Afton brunch!! Our waiter was delightful and the food was delicious. We started with the breakfast nachos and then I got the egg Philly melt. Wow! We will definitely be back.
Grabbed some late weeknight drinks here, and the vibes were amazing. Small but not too small, not too dark inside but dim enough to create a chill atmosphere. I personally liked the drinks and my friend would describe them as "solid." Would definitely go back if I'm in the area.
Best breakfast nachos I’ve ever had! The bottomless drinks are always a good choice and I share the cinnamon sticks for dessert. The fried chicken is a good portion and flavorful but I suggest that the gravy is served on the side. Drinks and food are fantastic! Always a good stop in Astoria.
Sweet Aftons is a solid call for a weekend neighborhood brunch. Food, service and atmosphere are all on point. Grab a few friends and hang out here for it a bit
The apple pecan flapjacks were amazing!! The syrup was unique and topped things off very nicely. Overall price was decent, presentation was good, and waiters were nice and quick. Would definitely go back again a second time! PS: the food is not halal here
We went for brunch and even though it was a little pricey, you can see why once you taste the food! We had the sweet potato pancakes with the bacon mixed in the batter. They were so light and fluffy! Everything was elevated with the pecans, granny smith apple slices and the caramel sauce! Delectable
Hangover doesn't stand a chance against this menu. Cold beer and great food. Coffee wasn't all too great but who really cares? Joe was our server and even though we were outside and it was packed inside, we never felt neglected. Thanks man.
Went for birthday brunch with couple of friends. We basically trued all the popular dishes and drinks. The outdoor covered seating was really fun. They seemed quited busy for weekend brunch. Luckily, we reserved table and hence got nice corner. All the staffs seemed really friendly and we did enjoy
My burger was delicious and the fries were some of the best I have eaten in a while. The atmosphere is awesome and the staff is great. I am adding this place to my regular rotation
Happy Hour till 7PM. Great service and good appetizers. I have so much fun sitting next to window. I want to go on Monday for live music.
This is our go-to bar in the region, the staff is great, there’s a patio in the back (cool when it’s warm, otherwise can get cold), and a more “upscale” cocktail bar on the left. The original bar is good enough tho, the cocktails are balance, plenty amount of drafts beer, but could have more cider o
I come here so much. Great neighborhood bar, open till late. Good cocktails and always nice atmosphere, doesn’t matter the day or occasion. Love their shishito peppers
First time here. This place didn’t disappoint. Cocktails were really good and classy - well made. Great vibes and awesome at night. Had the Glass Negroni and The Monarch. Glass Negroni was new for me, The Monarch was awesome.
Came here for brunch around 11am on a Sunday and we got seated right away. The place is dark inside, but I liked the overall vibe. There weren’t as many healthy options in the menu, but I got the Benedict with salmon, which came with a salad and it was delicious! The mimosas were no joke, lots of ch
One of the best bars in Astoria. The precision, flair, and dedication of the staff behind the pine is next level. Craft cocktails and liquor selection is well curated and quite frankly is exceptional. Highly recommend to those in the Sunnyside area of Queens. Nostalgic early-2000s playlist rounds ou
I’ve only come for brunch so far, haven’t had dinner here yet, but I will. The brunch menu seemed small at first but everything on the menu that I tried was amazing. Also really delicious breakfast cocktails. Both times I’ve eaten here, I sat in the back outdoor area which was very cozy and bright.
