Pye Boat Noodle - Astoria - Photo album

I always get a pad thai from every thai place I go to so that I have a standard dish to compare. The pad Thai here was the best I've ever had - I even ordered a second to take home with me so I could eat it again. It's less sweet than what you typically get elsewhere and you can really taste the tam
For reasonably priced Thai in Astoria, this is the spot. The vibes and decor is fitting for the Thai restaurant and transport you to somewhere that is not NYC. They also have a nice back patio seating area. The food was great, the papaya salad was spicy enough and strong flavors infused with the ve
The best Thai. Great Thai ice tea, I enjoyed the raw beef appetiser too much. Good curry and great noodles. The wings were so tiny and adorable. I really enjoyed the fried quail eggs and the sauce it came with too, it was w unique but that raw beef appetiser was spicy cold and so good. The highlight
An authentic Thai noodle place with relaxing vibe. My favorite is Pad See Ew - it’s hard to find a place that makes a good pad see ew since most restaurants tend to make it on the sweet side, but Pye hits the spot. Besides pad see ew, we also ordered frozen watermelon and lychee which are refreshing
Always a great dinner. Friendly servers and what I believe to be very authentic Thai food. Nice ambiance and decoration too. Try this dessert on the picture
Beef/pork Boat noodle and pad thai. Get these 2 and you will be satisfy. Whenever I don’t know what to eat and I want some good noodle I come visit pye boat noodle. Soup base is a good pork/beef blood base. I really like the rice noodle but wide ribbon noodle is good too. Solid thai ice tea.
We ordered Thai iced teas and they came out before we could get a chance to blink! Very tasty food that left us all very content
One of my new favorite Thai spots, hands down. Everything was delicious and we just wanted to keep trying out more options. Highly recommended any noodle dish and the spicy fish balls. Everything is reasonably priced as well! Can’t wait to come back and try out a few more options some time soon.
The restaurant is in a nice hidden spot and the backyard ambience looks pretty cozy with its cute little pond. I like how it's situated walking distance from residences and other businesses are close by. The worst is just parking cuz it's right in the city. Anyway, the neighbors know how to deal wit
FOOD/DRINK: 1.) tarot roll = yummy crispy tasty 2.) sukhothai noodle boat noodle = we chose the vermicelli noodles. This was good just not as blown away as the pans got curry 3.) panang curry over rice = oooh this was so good plus that over easy egg that pops and oozes umami all over the plate 4.) g
Yum, delicious and packed with flavor. Tastes and feels authentic, and atmosphere and staff are very friendly and relaxed. Their special curry dish was excellent and we really liked the desserts. So reasonably priced too! The back outdoor space is lovely.
Everything our group ordered was good. Very good service. Portions are on the smaller side. Not your typical Thai portions. If you are thinking family style sharing, this might not be the place. That's not a negative. Just FYI.
Unique Thai soup noodles and appetizers! Excellent service and cozy space.
Very reasonably priced spot for very solid Thai food! I’d recommend the noodles and red soup, almost takes like a Laksa. Their Thai fried rice and Pad Thai weren’t particularly memorable. They did lack a little of the authentic flavour you’d expect and it was a little bland. However, it tastes fresh
Love this tai restaurant! We had our dinner in outdoor area with some sunlight. We enjoyed our food and drink! I forgot which cocktail I got, but it was recommended by the staff. My wife got the lychee slush which was amazing! I want to try the special dish but was told it’s gonna be spicy and I did
Papaya salad, pye boat noodle beef (wide noodles) and pye boat noodle pork (regular rice noodles). All good. Outdoor seating is large and really nice!
Excellent food. Very different from any other Thai place I’ve been to. Their chive cakes were amazing! Very different yet similar to a scallion pancake. It had excellent flavor and the perfect crisp. My kupaw noodle dish was excellent. Lots of flavor with squid and chicken. It had tons of noodles as
Our favorite Thai restaurant in Astoria (probably NYC) especially for Thai noodle soups. We’ve enjoyed every noodle soup on the menu, least favorite would be the boat noodles (not as deep of a flavor as the others). All the stir fried noodle dishes are good as well. Get the chicken wings! Small but
The food is absolutely amazing. Best Thai restaurant I have been to in NYC. It tastes authentic and is honestly addicting. I go multiple times a month. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. For the noodles with soup, go for the rice noodle option.
