a superb place to try cakes and desserts. the staff is super friendly. a small note : the cakes are too dense, so two can share one slice

Amazing cheesecake and wide selection of awesome deserts! Definitely coming back here! Great atmosphere and really nice location as well! I ended up trying red velvet cheesecake and Black Forest cake! Loved it!

Best bakery anywhere! Famous for their Berry Napoleon but you can't go wrong with anything you order here. The canolis are better than any I had in Italy. Their cappuccino is world class too. If you're in NYC or visiting you MUST give this place a visit. I only wish they shipped their goodies to Arizona.

Got red velvet for my birthday, it was a crowd fav. Also tried the apple pie, nice crust, very thin apple slices in the feeling. The place itself was full everytime I went. Oh and our vegan friend enjoy the vegan cheesecake and chocolate cake.

The pastries here re always excellent, but their operations are a mess. It’s very unclear where to go to place your order and the girls who work the front are always very confused about how their own system works. Other locations are much better than this one. By far the LARGEST muffins in New York City lol.

Such a lovely bakery/cafe. I came solo and had the key lime blueberry cheesecake bar. I brought him the berry napolean and chocolate fudge cakes home for my family. Perfect deserts!

I love this place but something was just off tonight. We were a large party, seated after 20 min which is great for a Saturday night, seated in the area where the take out line is. Anyway, we sat for a good 10 min (maybe more) and had to ask the manager when someone was going to come take our order. She was shocked that no one came to our table since she welcomed us on our way in so she knew how long we were sitting there. The server came and took our order and brought out water. We were served without utensils. We thought he was coming back with them but he never came back so we had to ask for utensils. Then we were ready to go and waited forever for the check. Upon getting ready to leave (still waiting for my credit card to come back) i asked another server if i could get something to go. She tells me sure join the line. WHAT?! I just dined in and now I have to wait in that long take out line to get something to go??? I asked for my leftovers to be packed and when i got home i realized some of my items weren't packed . I am not accustomed to this type of service at Martha's. I come here often. I dont know if they have some new staff working there or whats going on exactly but it wasn't a pleasant experience. We couldn't wait to get out of there tonight.

Variety quality and great service! My family and I have been going to Martha’s for a long time. We love the red velvet cake! Perfect for birthdays. I personally love the Mississippi mud pie. The cupcakes are always fresh as well.

Very very good!! We came in early afternoon on a Saturday and got a seat no problem, no wait. We got two frappes, NY cheesecake and baklava. Everything was delicious and our waitress was very nice. It was hard to choose what to get. We came back later that evening around 8/9pm and there was a short wait for i side so we went to their indoor seating out back and it was nice and heated. The staff was great again and we got two greek coffees and carrot cake. The baklava was the best out of the three desserts. Will be back for more!

I ordered a a berry napoleon cake for my birthday and the young cashier with glasses brought out the icing and let me choose which one. Unfortunately after going home the cake got really messed up and was unrecognizable. I brought it back the next morning and they gave me a whole new cake free of charge even though it wasn’t their mistake. 10/10 customer service.

Hands down The best Napoleon cake I have ever tried! Also tried Dirty Chai Tea Latte it was with earl grey tea and oat milk, simply superb! Highly recommend this place!

The dessert is to die for ! Really good ! Plenty outdoor and indoor seating area . The customer service however - definetlly needs improving . Very impatient server and somewhat with attitude . I have this place 5 star because of the quality of the sweets and benefit of a doubt that maybe that day was challenging for her. The desserts are must try and their coffee as well

This has been our go-to dessert spot for years. Best carrot cake in town.

Thank you for making my daughter's favorite cake (red velvet ) reality, she wanted for her birthday peppa pig and it was awesome.. I had to travel with the cake to new jersey (bc this is the only cake my daughter eats ) and the manager offer the cake frozen since it was hot this way the cake could survived the 2 hours trip. Update again: Better much better .... I can give back my 5starts to this place again

A great spot for good conversations, good desserts and coffee or beverages. Wait staff is attentive and friendly. The wait is usually no longer than 5-10 minutes. My go to is the New York cheesecake with a slice of strawberry. This establishment serves fresh and ready to eat baked goods. Enjoy a warm cup of coffee or lemonade with your dessert. The establishment is fairly large to accommodate groups of more than 6. Bathrooms are well maintained and appear pretty clean. This location is great to enjoy baked goods with friends, family or your roommate. Decor is white brick walls with wood beam accents in the main area. The four stars is Awarded based on service, hospitality, decor and quality of baked goods. The lemonade doesn’t taste as good and the air vents could use a quick cleaning.

The best bakery in Astoria. Get the berry Neapolitan this is the best and perfect for parties perfect blend of fruit, custard and love. The banana cream pie and cheese cakes will make your taste buds party all night and they look just as pretty. When you walk in you see this array of beautiful colors from the cupcakes and macaroons and all the other pretty treat. It has a modern look and vibe with chill beats playing in the background. Its usually busy and there’s a fast moving line so check the online menu before you go or just try the stuff I said earlier you will be very happy!
