Our server was Nikki she was phenomenal very attentive from the start... we ordered the mussels and the smoked wings and everything was delicious. For drinks we had the Lion's Tail and Gin Fizz both were amazing. I ordered the Amish Chicken and she had the Faroe Salmon both of our dishes were perfect... The biggest surprise was the kale... with my dairy allergy I couldn't have it creamed so they just sautéed it... it was literally the best I've ever tasted. After finishing my main dish I ordered a side of kale that's how good that shit was like seriously ridiculous. Great service, great food, great atmosphere!!!!
We had a lovely dining experience here! The ambiance was lovely, the service was wonderful - our server was great- and the food and wine were excellent! One of the sweetest things that evening was that an older gentleman came in, and sat by himself at a table. Even though the server had another large party,(16?) once they were served, she actually sat down with this gentleman and talked to him! How delightful the servers are!
A little cold inside, but the brunch was so delicious. I had the quiche but couldn’t leave there without getting the Brussels sprouts, they are so light and crispy with a sweet hot flavor. Yum!!
Went with friends. Everything was great! Steak House salad, FAROE ISLAND SALMON and Short-Rib Beef Wellington all were excellent! Started with House Chips, light and crispy. Not heavy oil but perfect start to meal.
Didn’t get a drink but drink specials looked awesome.
Great place place to enjoy a great meal & spend time to catch up with friends!!
We came to Cornerstone as a last minute brunch spot after Easter services. We should have asked for pricing first but we just went to the buffet. The buffet was solid, there was a nice selection and everything was good but nothing was great. When we went to pay the total was $120 for two brunches and two coffees which I thought was really expensive. We definitely wouldn't do the brunch again at that cost.
Nice restaurant. Service was fine as was the food. Not really memorable. Its a okay local place to get dinner but not on the level of other places we've gone to like Dish or G on Liberty.
I really enjoyed myself here when I came a few months ago. I was pleasantly surprised by it. The food was delicious, the staff was great, and the drink list was nice as well. All in all, a really nice experience and I’m excited to come back sometime soon. A nice restaurant tucked away here in Aspinwall!
I want so badly to give y'all 5 stars, but I just can't. 4 stars go to Regina, our server/bartender. She was knowledgeable, efficient, and I enjoyed seeing her work flawlessly behind the bar, as she's prepared drinks and took care of her bar patrons. The Brussels sprouts were fabulous, no complaints there. However, I ordered the duck and my husband ordered over by. Both medium rare, both undercooked. That was not a blackberry as you with the duck, the risotto was virtually flavorless, and thankfully I love carrots cuz the carrots surprisingly tasted like carrots! It's a swanky place, and it was busy so I completely understand the "slower" ticket times. We will try you again in the future, simply because I know this is the busy time just after covid restrictions have let up so maybe people have lost their touch a little. Hopefully in a few months things will be spot on and we'll have a favorite place to go.
Very nice dining experience. Creative cocktails from the bar, well prepared dishes.
