The Wooden Spoon Family Restaurant - Ashford - Photo album

ordered pancakes and bacon. Pancakes were great. Bacon was probably some of the best bacon I’ve ever had in my life five star and they gave my dog a primo treat well done!!
Great place for breakfast. Went in after hiking the NipMuck Trail. Nice atmosphere and food was sensational. For breakfast 100% would recommend chicken fried steak and eggs.. it was perfect and tender. Breading was flavorful and gravy just right. Our waitress Sophie was polite and attentive. A
Just moved to Ashford and had to find a breakfast place. Right down the road from us, so super convenient! The atmosphere is cute, and the staff was very friendly. There were a lot of great menu items, and the food we got was delicious! My favorite was the homemade corn beef hash. Will definitely be
Very delicious and plentiful breakfast. Coffee was nice and smooth as well. Staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Very yummy breakfast. Their omelets are stuffed with filling and the potatoes are really well seasoned. Although they were busy and there was an understandable wait they were attentive and our food came quickly. Will be coming here again :)
We had a 20 minute wait to get seated, but I'm glad we decided to stick around for a table. I had the biscuits and gravy and a single slice of apple pie French toast. The gravy on the biscuits was downright amazing. The rest is the meal was fantastic and the service was excellent even though the pla
I love the Wooden Spoon. Their house made hash is out of this world and the small town hole in the wall diner is as authentic as it can be. They have a wonderfully unique call ahead drive through window and an ever rotating daily special. I highly recommend grabbing a bite to eat here! They are cash
The owners are English I believe....the guy is like a Chef Ramsey clone. He can rub you the wrong way if you rightfully..deserve it..lol. Regardless he is a master at his craft. You will not find a better breakfast I promise. His lunch menu is just as mastered. There is nothing I have had that was o
The wait is usually worth it! I personally don't go here that often because I have a preference to another breakfast spot, but I can't deny how much my husband loves their biscuits and gravy. Plus I made a bacon waffle and that was yummy.
Ordered the spoon skillet and could have shared with 2 as the portion was very large. This is my second time going and I will be stopping again when in the area
What an amazing find! We stopped in for breakfast totally by accident. We've driven past more times than I can count while visiting family in town. Best hash I've tasted in a long, long time. The ambience was very cozy, with partitions separating the tables into their own little alcoves. Can't w
Food was excellent. Cozy feel inside, and while it was a bit full up the staff maintained their speed alongside politeness and thoughtfulness. Definitely will be coming again!
Great little local breakfast and lunch spot. Dinner now available on some nights. Good selection of all breakfast foods and burgers and sandwiches.
Small place. Great food. Get the homemade hash!
Best place to eat in the area. I discovered my first "hole in the wall" which is an egg cooked inside a slice of bread French toast style. So good!
Every time me and my wife have ordered from this place, we feel like having lunch at breakfast time, and every time we've called the owners have done it no questions asked. On top of that, the food they make is absolutely delicious. I have zero complaints, and thank them always for going above and b
I like the old classical music they play, great food, great service, cute waitress
