In the wide sea of ramen choices in Asheville it takes something special to rise above. Broth Lab has succeeded in raising the Ramen bar. You can customize your bowl or try one of the awesome house classics. The red curry lobster broth is fantastic. This place is so good I almost don’t want anyone t
My first time here I had a head cold and it was cold outside. My ramen hit the spot! It was so flavorful, delicious, and filling. I ordered the tonkotsu broth w braised pork belly, ride noodles, mushrooms, kale and pickled onions. It was very good portion as well. I had some left over to take home.
Really tasty noodle dishes. Enjoyed the Lobster Red Curry bowl and Miso Ginger Vin bowl, especially.
So warming and delicious! Wholesome comfort food. Love the whole menu, but I'm currently hooked on the "#2." Gives you the warmest yummm ever!
The staff was helpful and the food was excellent. I got the #2 (lobster red curry broth) and my friend got the #1 (tonkotsu broth). Both were very different with a happy harmony of flavors. I loved the spicy eggplant, pickled cucumber, and peanuts in mine - I would probably opt for a different prote
Great Bowl, pork belly cooked perfectly, excellent broth and the noodles had just enough chew. The soft boiled eggs were awesome. Staff was very friendly and the food came out very quickly. Love the location. A must-try!
I had the lobster sauce with salmon, kale, and seaweed. It was absolutely delicious!! Gluten free pasta made me so happen. Wish I’d also ordered the fried okra as it was also gluten free. The two people with me said it was the beat they’d ever had! We’ll be back!!!
Sitting here on a beautiful patio, sipping and eating by far the best ramen I have ever had. These guys changed the game with the standard boring ramen that everyone in town has to offer. They have exciting toppings, insanely delicious broths and an attention to detail far superior to that of their
Stopped in last night for a quick dinner not really knowing what to expect and were literally blown away. We ordered menu item #2 which was the lobster red curry rice noodle dish. We arrived at an odd time so the lobster wasn't ready so the owner asked if he could substitute salmon and it was amaz
Don’t miss this place! I have eaten at the Broth Lab about 10 times now and every experience has been the BEST (it’s on our weekly rotation). It is consistently so fresh, incredibly flavorful, and the environment is immaculate & stylish. I feel inspired to write a review after trying a new, comparab
This is the best ramen bowl ever. I had the wavy noodles with fried tofu, fried pickled cauliflower, corn and kale. It was warm on a cold night. Very tasty. We loved it. Best fried tofu.
Broth Lab is a gem in Asheville's River Arts District. Their unique fast-casual menu fosters a deliciously simple experience – GOOD ramen that isn't overly complicated. They've removed all of the unnecessary bells and whistles to produce good old fashioned ramen that warms your belly and your soul.
Affordable and delicious noodle bowls with their favorites or options to creat your own concoction with a few choice beer options. Feels and is a hole in the wall without a sign. Hidden river arts district gem. Will definitely be back to try different combinations!
Unique and delicious. Quick service and reasonably priced. A gem in this foodie city. Only one thing that I would improve on...the white miso mushroom broth was uncomfortably salty. However, the crispy pickled cauliflower was ballin'!
First of all, I work here. Second of all, I eat here nearly every day. Take my biases as you will, but I truly enjoy the food here, and choose to sit and have a bowl of ramen after most of my shifts because of that. My personal favorite combination is:
Tokyo wavy noodles
Tonkatsu broth
Shrimp Cevic
Absolutely incredible. This is what Asheville was missing! I’ve lived here since 2004, and until Broth Lab opened, our Ramen options were few and far between. I love the ramen at Heiwa, but parking is tough. There’s a new place that I won’t name here, but it’s sooo disappointing and limited and over
The broth was very tasty and the menu is simple while still offering enough options for ingrediants to make your own unique ramen. I found the prices to be very reasonable and the staff were polite and friendly.
Favorite ramen in Asheville, love the build your own bowl and the toppings they have available. The lobster red curry broth is seriously delicious. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!
Great noodles, broths, and extras. The miso-mushroom and pork belly broths were excellent. The pork belly was outstanding. Generous portions and friendly staff. Very clean restaurant. Highly recommended.
