Whit's Frozen Custard at Gerber Village is an excellent place to get a delicious scoop of Frozen Custard. Frozen Custard is better than ice cream because it has less sugar and fat but tastes Just Like Ice Cream (even better). Whit's has custom flavors that change each week or so. This week they had DreamCicle and Thin Mint Chocolate Chip which were both delicious. The DreamCicle tastes just like you remembered and the Thin Mint Chocolate Chip had chunks of that favorite of favorites: Thin Mint GSofA cookies. Their custard is made right here in Asheville. The folks that work here are super nice and the clean interior provides a great place to stop and enjoy Whit's Frozen Custard. A+++
My family loves going to Whit’s for a frozen treat! The staff is always lovely and the frozen custard is incredible. I like to keep it simple with a vanilla cone, but you cannot mess up by ordering the other delicious options. There is also comfortable seating if you can’t wait to dig into your treats!
Our families favorite go-to place for frozen treats. Super creamy deliciousness. Personal faves are Almond Joy, Buckeye, and Samoas. The custard cakes are a frequent request for birthday dessert at our house. Great, friendly staff. Love it.
Personal service. Nice and creamy, feels so decadent. Can get made to order or purchase some custard out of the freezer case. There are four freshly made flavors each day. There is some indoor and some outdoor seating.

I've been hoping to find a great frozen custard place since leaving Florida and I found it here at Whit's. Their fresh custard is fantastic and they have lots of mix-ins to choose from. They also have a great selection of pre-made treats to choose from including cookie sandwiches and cartons of various flavors. Very good, check it out!
We love Whit's! The custard is made fresh daily, and it's so light and creamy. Add a couple mix-ins to top off your scoop, and you're all set...so delicious!
I must say that I was pleasantly surprised here. My friend is obsessed with a Whit's in Florida but I kept picturing soft serve custard with nothing IN it, etc etc. I'm not a big toppings person but if it's mint chips I expect the chips, you know ? Anyway, apparently this frozen custard is HARD. And although there were a few ordering hiccups, this was the best "ice cream" I've had around here. To be honest that's not saying much because I have been SEVERELY under impressed with Ashevolle ice cream. But this stuff is quality. You can notice this is custard due to the thick texture which isn't my favorite but it is what it is. I'm only mad now because I was annoyed at the ordering confusion so didn't think I'd return so I didn't get a frequent scoop punch card, and now I will most definitely be back.

Delicious after dinner treat! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! My hubby had the vanilla custard in a waffle cone and I tried their Hawaiian Mixer. Made our vacation a little bit sweeter!

The store on Hendersonville Road seems a bit brighter and even cleaner than the spotless locations in Hendersonville and on Merrimon Avenue. This store has more fun art on the walls.
