Relaxed, eclectic, welcoming diner that hits all its marks on food and service -- and then gives you a little bit extra you didn't expect. Limited menu is a good sign, and there's a rotating daily special. Went on a Friday, when the special is fish tacos, and the two crispy fish tacos I got were easily superior to the ones I get at my well-reviewed local taco joint. Some of my friends had a late breakfast, others had lunch off the menu, and everyone had a good meal. Think classic Southern roadside diner run by a great cook with a wry sense of humor. This is the real thing.

My absolute favorite breakfast place in all of Asheville. I have been coming here for years and will continue to without a doubt. The prices are a little higher but it is beyond worth it for the food and service you receive. Ingredients are local sourced and very fresh. Super thick cut bacon and excellent homemade gravy. They are cash only which is important to note.

Love this place! Great food, staff and owner. If you are looking for a great place to eat that also provides a "homey" type vibe, this is the place for you. It is definitely a great place to eat if you like to feel welcome, as well as a valued customer. They are closed Monday, so be aware of that... Also, be sure to bring cash or check, as they do not accept credit or debit cards. However, all-in-all, this is an amazing locally owned buisness that truly cares about the food they serve while keeping their customers happy with the entire experience! :)

If you like down home food at it's best Newbridge is 5 stars. Breakfast is simple and delicious. Excellent burgers and Fried Chicken Wednesdays are incredible with locally sourced chicken marinated overnight and served with 4 sides for about. 8 or 9 bucks. Chicken is only served Wednesday. Newbridge is open for breakfast and lunch only.

Comfortable and homey. It's one of our go to places for breakfast when all of the other lines are going to be crazy. They don't have a super fancy menu but everything you order will be good. They take eggs and sausage to another level with the fresh local ingredients they use.

The Newbridge is one of my all time favorite places. The food is good quality the environment is quiet and calm and the staff are some of the friendliest I've ever met. Everyone that works there seems to really enjoy what they do.

Our very first time here and the food and service were great as well as priced reasonably! Loved seeing all the old-timey stuff decorating the dining area. It was fun to peruse down memory lane! LOL

If you like what I call a "hole in the wall" place, you'll love this place. Hole in the wall place is not bad in my opinion. I seek out places like this. The food was great. We only had breakfast. The price seemed a little high to me but then again I'm not familiar with this area. The people were very friendly.
