Soooo I have to admit every time I remembered to take a photo was too late because the food was so tantalizing that I bit in before I thought about it. I did make mindful shots of partial plates 😆
The ultimate Queso IS so thoughtful as they portion out pico de gallo, churrizo, a black bean and corn salsa, and another green separately with queso in the middle where you are giving separate dishes to craft your own. This was a very different and well executed concept.
The margarita was SO fresh and found out they make their own sour mix which makes sense as to its superiority with most restaurants.
The Tacos De Cozumel were to die for... bacon coupled with whatever protein you choose - I got the chicken and Shrimp. Although not a native to Asheville I know a regular spot every visit we make in the future! Great atmosphere and service!
The chips and salsa are unlimited for the table for four bucks. Normally those would just be free. This is like a white version of a Mexican restaurant. The chips were stale but the two types of salsa were good. The ultimate margarita was $14 and was tasty for sure and quite large. The bartender did a great job. The vibe and decor are really cool. What food I did see looked very tasty and hearty portions. The bloody margarita special for Sunday was nice twist on a bloody Mary and only five bucks!
Very cool place to eat! Has some history and great staff! My husband had a Chimichanga and I had the Loco pollo burrito! Delicious!
Great food and good service. It was warm enough to eat outside. However, it was a Friday evening and this restaurant was hopping. Ordered the cheese enchiladas and my wife ordered the black and blue nachos with pulled pork. Both meals were excellent.
What amazing food and service! We had the grilled tacos are out a flight of tequila and we were very impressed. The tacos were perfect! The meat was tender and easy to bite into and both the soft and hard shells were heated perfectly. Our bar tender Gonzalo was very attentive and we never had an empty glass. Thank you! We will definitely be back ❤️
This places was great. I had the tacos which were amazing, very fresh.
It gets only 4 stars because of the amount of onions in the food. I am a fan of onions but we couldn’t really taste anything else besides that.
I still recommend but make sure you let them know to go easy.

The place is wonderful. Staff was great and service was fast. Parking not that easy but over all 5 stars
Let me start by saying, the food was great. I don't think I have ever had a taco so FULL or so well seasoned. The spicy was perfect, the cheese was great, the salsa was good. The food was good. The server was awesome. She was fun, witty, attentive and did a great job. The interior was gimmicky. You don't go here for the ambiance or the environment. You go for the booze, the food, and the people. THAT part they have down for sure. Overall a very pleasant experience and I wouldn't think twice about going again if I was in town.
Nice dinner, great atmosphere. Food fresh and delivered in a timely fashion. Fajitas were delicious. Lots to take hone. Queso was yummy. Mango margarita was kinda slimy and Bloody Mary was okay. Lots of outdoor seating. Street parking.
Very nice restaurant, with lots of Biltmore history readings in the hallway. The bar is really nice. My only issue is that they charge for chips and salsa, this should be complementary. I ordered the Barbacoa burrito which was under flavored and bland. The macaroni and cheese was great and the rice was good. Probably return if back in the Biltmore area, but wouldn’t seek this restaurant out passing though again.
Is there a way to give more than 5 stars? This place is wonderful! If management reads this, Fernando is an amazing server and deserves a raise! If you are looking for great Mexican food in Asheville, look no further. The Biltmore quesadilla and the nachos were delicious. You won't regret eating here.
Great food as always! One of our favorite places to eat when we visit Biltmore. This was our first visit since my son's recent celiac diagnosis. There are a variety of gluten free options, but more importantly, he felt safe eating here. They have a dedicated fryer for chips and a separate flat top grill. My son was very happy!
Wow this was some great Mexican food. Our group was hungry after touring the village and after a short wait we were taken care of by The Cantina's very attentive staff.
Once we ordered we barely got to enjoy the tasty chips and salsa before our food came out; 5 minutes flat. Everyone loved their meals and though it was a bit pricier than other comparable establishments we enjoyed it nonetheless.
This place was absolutely incredible! The staff was very friendly and the food was wonderful. There was a bit of a wait but they had a bar outside servings some amazing margaritas (strong ones too). I would also recommend you order the ultimate queso as it pairs wonderfully with their salsas that they bring to the table. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the area!
Great brunch. The eggs Benedict was tasty. Great location and service.
