I enjoyed our waiter. She was awesome for helping sort through an awesome menu. It was our first time, and we enjoyed recommendations 😊 the food was great except for the tiramisu, which lacked moisture since it was too dry. The pasta was delicious, the marinara dip yummy, and the pizza was pleasing. Did not take pics of the salad, bread, and onion soup, but it was nice.
Could not have found the most perfect place to enjoy some appetizers and drinks after work with my crew/friends.

Went to Strada on 12/02 for my engagement dinner with my (now) husband. Despite the very long line in the cold, the gentleman at the door said we could sit at the bar right away. We were excited that we got in so fast bc we thought we were going to have to eat elsewhere. David was our mixologist/server and he was awesome! We’ve never had such an attentive, caring, cool server before. He was professional, funny and asked if we had allergies before ordering. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were sips of art. I don’t usually write reviews but this place (and David!) need to be recognized. Highly recommend :)
My partner and I visited tonight for a little date night for my birthday. Everything was amazing! Jessica was friendly and attentive, and our food was quick to table and absolutely delicious! The rooftop patio is beautiful and intimate. I am so happy with my experience, and we will be visiting again on our next trip!

The food selection was not shy of bold flavors. They are known for making pasta in house. We were scraping the meatball plate for leftovers. I had the Tuscan duck and figs, which I still think about til this day. It is perfectly balanced between savory and sweet, the glaze drizzle added a nice finishing touch.
Being Italian I’m generally skeptical of eating out at Italian restaurants but fortunately had a very positive experience at Strada. Starting with the calamari which was great! For entrees: The Tuscan duck and fig and short rib bolognese were both very delicious. Enjoyed the Aperol Spritz and Buttercup cocktails very much. We were extremely lucky to get a last minute seating for two at 6pm with no reservation, right at the window which we loved. The pace, timing of food delivery was just right. Our waitress was lovely. I happen to mention it was my daughter’s birthday and she surprised her with a “birthday cannoli” including a candle. So cute !!
I had a party of 3 and walked in off the street. Was seated on the heated rooftop dining area. The lighting was dim, but it was a pleasant atmosphere. It a was clean and service was great. The food. Was. Amazing. I had the lasagna, and it was a perfect amalgamation of flavor. No flavor was overpowering and the portion was filling. Excellent place to dine.
What a great night celebrating family. Our son got engaged and we celebrated here after, what a great location. All of our dinners were excellent, from the pastas to the steak, service was friendly and fast. Highly recommend!

Our wedding reception at Strada’s rooftop lounge was a dream come true! We started working with Carly Reese over a year before the event and her expertise and unwavering dedication were evident from our very beginning! She worked diligently and patiently to address our countless questions! Her talent and meticulous attention to detail transformed our wedding into a masterpiece. Without her, our special day wouldn't have come close to what it was!
As the final pieces fell into place, we had the pleasure of meeting Kinsey, who would be there for our receptionist. Kinsey was remarkable! She went above and beyond, even taking the time to test our playlist on the speaker system, to make sure the music was just perfect. Her dedication to perfection was a testament to the level of care and professionalism that Strada's staff embodies!
On the night of our celebration, Kinsey and every member of the Strada team, from the talented bartenders to the attentive waitstaff, went out of their way to make our event flawless. Their genuine warmth and eagerness to assist at every turn created an atmosphere of pure joy and celebration!
Not only was the ambiance perfect but the food and drinks were spectacular and there were delicious options for vegans and GF guests! All of our family and friends are still talking about how delicious everything was!

Came in for a late dinner and absolutely loved it. Duck was phenomenal & short rib boulinase was insanely delicious. Our waitress was beyond helpful & pointed out a few places to check out.
We hosted a rehearsal dinner at Strada in the upstairs patio dining room. The food and service was exceptional. Strada offers a wide variety of delicious main entree selections and the appetizers served during the cocktail hour were fantastic! Working with Kinsey to make selections and prepare for the dinner was a delight. She made everything so easy and put us at ease throughout. All in all it was a fantastic experience!
Came here for a rehearsal dinner and had the most lovely experience from start to finish. The event began upstairs with cocktails and an excellent grazing spread. The cheese-stuffed figs and calamari were standout but everything was awesome. Then we all moved into the open air courtyard for a seated set menu dinner.
Each course offered at least two different choices so you could customise your meal. The soup (an Italian take on french onion) and salmon were delicious but the surprising standout was the vegan lasagna, which was generously portioned and so well flavoured. Desserts included tiramisu or cannoli - I tried both and can confirm you won't go wrong with either.
Despite the large group, the staff were quick and attentive and very friendly. Will definitely be back.
Loved all the gf options, and was pleasantly surprised the pasta didn't contain corn, either! Super nice staff, delicious food. Highly recommend.
This was genuinely one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had! I had their famous bolognese and it was absolutely delicious. The garlic ciabatta was very good as well and prices were great for the amount of food received.
The food was spectacular. Get the muscles with the Vodka cream sauce with some spice!!!
Our server Kaitlyn was phenomenal, she was so personalble and accommodating it really made our night.

We "semi eloped" and had a small wedding ceremony in Asheville with our immediate family. We had our post-ceremony dinner at Strada. They absolutely exceeded our expectations. They worked with me extensively beforehand to answer all my questions, and the rooftop area was perfect for our party of 21. The food was amazing, and the bartenders and servers were absolutely top notch. They made the evening stress free, fun, and perfect. We highly recommend Strada for any special event you may be celebrating. They will absolutely take care of you.
Strada Italiano is an excellent choice for Italian food in downtown Asheville! Every time I have dined here I have enjoyed a scrumptious, filling meal with a lovely ambience and attentive staff. I dined for my birthday this last week & our waiter Will was attentive including helping relay our request to the bartender for a mocktail that would pair well with their short rib bolognese. The mocktail was incredible and made my delicious meal even more tasty! The cherry on top is how attentive Strada is with food allergies. Being unable to eat gluten, including cross contamination, I love that I can eat here knowing that my allergy is being taken seriously! Thank you so much to the entire staff and my regards to the chef & bartender for their decadent creations!
Fresh pasta, flavorful food, felt like someone’s nonna was making the food. Everything was perfect and shockingly light. Best tiramisu!
