They NEVER get my order right either they forget the sauce the mess up the order and NEVER order and unsweetened tea there they will ALWAYS give you SWEET. This last time I ordered a double cheese burger and gave me everything but the MEAT! It was a CHICKEN PATTY. I have now given up on them EVER PROGRESSING PAST MEDIOCRE SERVICE OR EVER GETTING MY ORDER RIGHT

Ohioan stopped on my way to the beach. Big menu, quick service, and EXCELLENT pricing. Better taste and better price than any mainstream fast food. However, burger was pretty small. Great decision for lunch or a quick bite.

Alright I'm a fan of Cookout I am not a fan of long lines and long waits. My drive thru attendant was short and borderline dismissive. Almost like a wife. She wanted money and for me to hurry up. My food was acceptable and it only cost me about 10 dollars in gas waiting and was relieved not seeing homeless people wanting what little change I had left after I was robbed by inflation , corporate greed and price increases that made me want to start a revolution.

You can tell their burgers are cooked on the grill. That really adds a lot of flavor. And the milkshakes are excellent as well.

I used the drive thru as usual and sit there awhile and never got helped so I pulled up and finally someone came to the window. She was very polite and took my order, apologized for me having to wait.

This was the first Cook Out I ever ate at and remains my favorite even after trying many others. It's a must stop when passing through or anywhere near Asheboro- if for no other reason than to see what they have for the 99 cent shake flavor. Lines can be long BUT food is fresh, correct, generous, and delicious. Stop here if you get the chance! This is THE best Cookout.

I used to love cookout but my most recent visit made me not want to come back. I visited this cookout on 10/19/19 and had multiple issues. My significant other ordered a Big double tray with fried okra and seasoned fries. I ordered a big double tray with a walking taco and seasoned fries. When our food arrived it was wrong. On BOTH burgers was hot sauce instead of ketchup. It was obvious not ketchup because it was more liquidity and was spicy. As well as having a “hot” smell. Our seasoned fries literally had no seasoning on them and there was burnt crisps of an unknown food item mixed in. It was not burnt fries because it was thin and skin like. I do have pictures.

If you're looking for decent food thats better than McDonald's and burger king. Make sure to stop in at cookout. The price and taste is much better than the big commercial chains. You can't beat their tray combo price. Their milkshakes are also a must.
