Apna Kabob Restaurant

Honest prices, halal, all kinds of food but not enough business. The restaurant/diner is advertized as a kabob restaurant as seen on the front of the huge building facing route 7. This, personally should be changed to diner. The ham and bacon shown on the menu are nothing but beef/turkey equivalents. We ordered wings 2 cheese burgers and a chicken breast burger. Everything was amazing except the wings which were slightly cold in the middle but this may or not have been due to the slow service as we were the only ones in the complex. Overall very good food.

Sucks to read other reviews about poor experiences but mine was by far the greatest kabob in the area. The lamb and chicken was on point. Green sauce topped off the the meat wrapped in the bread quite well. The chick peas made for a good side dish yes they come in oil that’s how they are cooked that’s how they are expected.

Had lunch today and was surprised by the quality of the entrees and the portions. This is a serious value. My wife and I had the Chicken Tikka and Chicken Karahi. The Karahi cam out in an oven skillet piping hot and full of flavor. The Tikka was outstanding. Two full baskets of Naan, a slad, and a complimentary soup as well. It was enough food for 4 and incredibly fresh. I had no real expectations going in but I was delighted we decided to stop in. We will definitely be back for more.

EDIT: The owner of the business came to my office to apologize for the error, he was gracious and went out of his way to make things right, certainly appreciate his offer and will give then another chance. Good to see they take customer reviews seriously..... menus were dropped off at our office, everything looked good so we decided to order lunch via their website at 11.11 am, but 12.11 pm no food had arrived, so I called them, they were surprised I had placed my order online and said they didn't get it. 2 hours later from initially ordering, our food turned up, missing the salads. We ordered separate dishes but still got family style rice, not ideal for an office. I ordered the chicken kabob which on the menu says comes with rice, one naan bread, sauce, salad and chickpeas, another order of chicken curry, there were no salads. When I called to let them know items were missing they said it was extra $3.99 for the salads, no apologizes for being 2 hours late with the food, no offer to fix it, not friendly or apologetic at all... definitely won't be getting our office business again. such a shame
