Sunset Diner

Favorite area diner. We walked to this place regularly. The prices, service, and food are good. They really shine at breakfast—the pancakes are exactly what you expect which is harder than people credit! I like their style of breakfast potatoes, too. Bacon is nice and crispy. Kids meal options are good. My family regularly gets paninis and fries and both are generously and delicious. It’s not a fancy place—Sunset is exactly what a diner should be—reasonably priced comfort food served by professionals.

This diner is my favorite local restaurant in my neighborhood. The servers are all very friendly, and they're the best at what they do, and the cooks are awesome. They work fast without sacrificing quality and great taste. There are times they're so busy (especially during brunch/lunchtime hours) that you may experience a 10-minute wait time just to get seated, but once you're seated, you'll get a menu right away, and while you're deciding what to order your server is already back with the beverage you ordered a minute ago. I've never waited more than 14-15 minutes for my order, so I'm usually done eating a delicious breakfast or lunch meal in a jiffy, and I can head out to my next planned stop for the day.

I love this place. The employees, food and atmosphere are wonderful, let the alone food. We often order take out but stopped in today while running errands and had yet another awesome experience. Their chicken noodle soup is my favorite in the area as well as their sandwiches. Thank you Alyssa for your fantastic service and wonderful lunch! Marilyn is the best. She had a very positive attitude. She checked on my daughter and I. She kept a smile on our faces and she was very polite. She deserves a raise. It was very loud and a lot of arguing and a server being loud. But it didn’t bother Marilyn she kept doing her job and I appreciate her patience for that. You go girl we rooting for you.
