Wow. Asked a friend for a recommendation for a classy restaurant to celebrate my anniversary and he recommended Brando's. What a blessing. Natalie our server was engaging, personable and extremely professional - ask for her!. This is a classy place, high end, not casual, so dress up.
Booked an outdoor table, they were nice enough to have a high-top table available inside in case we were cold. There were rose petals on our table!
We had the stuffed mushrooms and jumbo lump crab/avocado appetizers (wow); for dinner bone in Kansas City strip and swordfish; for dessert Natalie recommended pistachio ice cream (wow!) and fried tortoni with complementary Nutella cannolis. My Moscow mule(s) were perfect as was my wife's martini and glass of wine; decaf cappuccinos were beautifully presented.

My husband, myself and 2 daughters (9,11 yr) had not only the best meal but the best service. Guiseppe was top notch! We said he has to be our waiter next time! 100% would go back. The blood orange margarita was delicious. The meals were all great and the brownie and pistacio ice cream cake had only crumbs left!
I celebrated my husband and I’s 15th wedding anniversary today at Brando’s. Our waiter was Giuseppe. To start, service was amazing. Not surprising as we have been there before and the place is truly a gem.we ordered the Burrata for appetizer. Only complaint is that I wish it had a balsamic drizzle. We decided to order something different today. I went with the ‘angry’ lobster which was ordered ‘happy’ style as I do not like spicy foods. The lobster had a great texture but unlike other places, not too oil based and more so white wine flavored. the lobster meat itself was soft and tender and non-oily-much different than what I’ve encountered in other places. Nonetheless, delicious. My husband ordered the Pappardelle Toscana which included scallops and shrimp. It was delicious! Not too spicy and flavorful. We both ordered dessert. I went with the Pistachio ice cream cake which was amazing and my husband went with the fried Tortoni. This place does NOT disappoint. It’s a MUST try! I cannot wait to go again. A special shout out to Giuseppe who went above and beyond in making sure we did not feel rushed during our special celebration even without knowing!
Absolutely amazing, we got the meatballs for an appetizer we got the meatballs, then for our main course we split the tomahawk steak which was perfect. My only complainant was the Brussel sprouts had too much balsamic sauce. But I’m not complaining! A must try if you’re here!
By far one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I've never had a bad meal and I love finishing it off with the pistachio ice cream cake. Getting a table or even a bar stool is pretty impossible though so you definitely need a reservation.
5 stars across the board. Food was outstanding, drinks were wonderful. Went with a group for work and we all were super pleased. The table had a little bit of everything, seafood, steak, pasta, etc… everything was just great. Highly recommend this place.
Fantastic food and service. Great portions and everything is so delicious. The bread they give in the beginning comes with three different choices to top the bread. Magnificent! You will not be disappointed!
Giuseppe is probably the coolest waiter in the world 🌎😎 or at least Asbury Park.
And the foods not too shabby either!

Delicious food and great service!! Must try the threeway gnocci - it is homemade. Basil sauce was the best, then Alfredo then red. Veal was delicious; eat off the bone good. All coffee drinks come with rock candy, such a nice touch! Dessert was okay. Mozzarella appetizer was good. Anthony was an awesome server!
"Old School" Italian-American cuisine. Good food but nothing to rave about. On a Sunday at 7pm, they were out of their Sunday Supper special. Three in our party ordered the special only to have the waiter return to inform us that it wasn't available. I can't think of anything that separates this restaurant from dozens of others that serve similar Italian-American cuisine.

Fantastic meal paired with oustanding service. Theresa was on point with her recommendations. She made our 1st visit even more memorable. The stuffed veal chop may be one of the best entrees ever. Can't wait to return.
This place is awesome. Don't be fooled by the location. It is a little corner of paradise. You need to experience the food and service they provide. If you are cold averse bring a sweater, the air is amazingly cold. But I must say, do NOT let this push to away, I'd eat here if they had it set to 50 degrees. SERIOUSLY. Wine list is EXTENSIVE. Portions are amazing. Prices are high, but flavor is worth it. You will not regret spending a bit more to eat here. I definitely WILL BE BACK.
Came here for Valentine’s Day. We were lucky enough to get a reservation. The place was packed but the staff was professional and attentive. We enjoyed our dinner so much! The food was excellent, slightly better than Stella marina (also in Asbury park) but not as good as anjelicas in sea bright. I’m giving this 4 stars because it’s a nice cozy restaurant with good food, staff was great and the service was fantastic. Especially because we went on such a busy day! I would definitely recommend this to anybody who’s looking for a good place to enjoy a nice romantic dinner.
Best meal and overall experience out of my life. I am dying to go back after 2 days! Stuffed veal chop and dog appetizer couldn't have been better. Excellent service and atmosphere.
