Hired the skittles room, was a great venu, separate from the main pub. Atmosphere was really made by the group of people, but the room was great for 16 of us, with plenty of space for us all.
The food was good and all served on time, with no one waiting for food, and all our diatry needs were looked after.

A smashing country pub with a warm welcome from the staff and a comfortable environment to sit and eat. The food was of a good standard without the hefty price tag. Two good, well kept real ales. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely go back.

One of those places we drive past almost everyday. So glad we stopped by tonight for our evening meal.

Country pub vibes with nice atmosphere. Lots of seating inside and out. Food was good but could do with more vegan options. Facilities were good but no hand towels in the bathroom. Staff were good and attentive to the table, I would advise booking, we went on a Wednesday and it was fairly busy at lunch time

Dog friendly pub, plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Friendly staff. Good menu with a choice of potatoes for each dish. Separate pizza menu. Numerous ice cream flavours and four sorbets. Not expensive at under £50, main, desert and drink for two. Saw a review saying the pies were stuffed full. I had the chicken and ham pie, and it was stuffed full with chunks of chicken breast and ham.

They serve Directors so they can be forgiven most things. But they have a restaurant area and still they exclude drinkers by reserving tables in the bar area. If it's not a lovely day for the garden it might be worth finding somewhere else for lunch.
