From looking at the negative reviews, it looks like I’m just another customer to get treated like I don’t matter. I’ll spare the details and just say there was a disagreement about what we were charged. The owner was incredibly rude. It’s just baffling. I will take my business elsewhere. I won’t lie…I wish everyone else would too so this clown could learn a lesson.

This place is awesome. It has been consistently good for years. Never a disappointment. I've never ordered something here that isn't delicious. It's all good. Try the Guacamole Mexicano, the Fajita Nachos, and the cheese dip. I LOVE this place. I tried branching out and trying other Mexican restaurants and I always end up back at Mezcal. It's the best 💚

Have been a loyal customer since lived in Arlington until this evening… my family and friends will now take our business to Perricos, Cazadores, , or Mexican restaurant in Oakland … I find it funny how some of the other reviews have you saying the exact words you said about not caring on losing customers or not your problem that you incorrectly rang up bill … most of the waitresses or waiter we have had there are good but the new guy and owner himself need to be more appreciative of their customers … you lost some more tonight … If the guy at the counter is not the owner he needs to fired and if he is the owner than that is more of a reason for people not to go to restaurant

Let me start off by saying that mexican food is not my favorite kind of food, so I am indifferent to the quality of the food; however, customer service is a pet peeve of mine. We scanned the QR menu at the table to order our food, however, when it was time to pay for our food, to our surprise the food prices were much higher. I told the manager this and he said their prices had gone up and they have a new menu which reflect the new prices (which we were never given); I asked him would he honor the prices that they STILL have posted and he said "No!" My wife then replied "you have lost a customer" and his response was "I lose customers all the time, so you're not the first!". Wow! I've just never heard that before in my life.

Ok, so I know most Mexican restaurants seem to be the same, right? Maybe it's just me. El Mezcal had friendly service, delicious food, great variety of options, and great fresh tortillas chips! I enjoyed the spinach options that were well seasoned and the white cheese dip with the tortillas... Mmmmm

The quality of food was mediocre. Nothing special. I do appreciate their social distancing efforts. All employees wore face masks and I never saw a nose uncovered. If I was looking for mexican in Arlington, I'd consider eating here, but wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Just ate lunch at this place with my elderly mother who thought she left her purse. We live 5 minutes away and I called to see if they had seen a purse and the man who answered the phone yelled, " that is not my problem" at me before I could even finish asking him if he had seen it. I had heard the staff here was super rude and today found this out! Will not eat here again.
