First the staff was super friendly and able to help answer questions on the offerings. The food was plentiful and very delicious. The beef was tender and flavorful with a subtle heat. Others in our group had pulled chicken in sauce. The plantains were baked and not fried and so delicious. Well worth a visit.

I loved this place so much. The food is delicious and the staff really helpful and friendly. I came by for dinner and tried the Lomo saltado, the pisco sour, the ceviche mixto and the Avocado salad with grilled shrimp. All the food was so well prepared, fresh ingredients, so tasty! We chatted with the owner as well and when we came back another day she remembered us and gave me a cookie for my mom :) she's really generous and helpful and doing a great job with customer service. I don't think you can go wrong with any food orders here. They are also starting smaller grab and go items like cookies and ice cream and they also have a vending machine. The food also tastes really authentic - I loved all the sauces that come with the food. The place is rather on the smaller side. They have some barstools and a large table in the center with a smaller table in the corner. Better to eat outside or take food to go since I'm sure the place gets crowded. I will definitely be back when in the area.

My husband and I are visiting the area and got dinner for his birthday tonight from this place, and we LOVED it! My husband is Peruvian and is originally from Peru and he was very impressed. Highly recommend! He got the Arroz con pollo and jugo de Maracuya. I got the lomo saltado and the chicha morada. We loved it. We also shared the yuca, and it was very fresh.

OMG so glad I found this place, today will be the 3rd time this week I'm eating from here!! I have Peruvian friends and know all about their 😋 delicious food. El Fuego is most definitely in my 'Favorites' from here on. Any time I'm working in the DC/Arlington area this will be a top spot. Tamales de polo are super Rico!! $$

Follow us: @onerisbarett on Instagram @gildededges on Instagram @Avetlife on Instagram ————— What’s up my fellow Yelpee’s, Googler’s and DMV’er’s!!! Another great place to stop by and eat at. This is the kind of area that I like to call rush hours greatest spots. A close-friend of mine and I had just left his daughters soccer tournament when we decided to use Yelp to scope the area for some delicious food. The moment we pulled up into the parking lot behind the building we could smell the savory Latin fuse aroma of whatever type of meat was being cooked. I mean you could hear the sizzling from outside so you already know that whoever was grilling knew what they were doing bc it smelled so good. Check out my pics for some of the delicious choices we made and leave your comments/reviews to help support this Latin business. By the way, we got to meet the owner who’s name is Lucia and we she is as humbled of a person as they come. The testimony she gave was priceless! We highly recommend this business. Go Fuego! 🔥🔥🔥

We enjoyed the food here although it’s slightly not very authentic (e.g., they didn’t use the Peruvian style fries in the lomo saltado). The alfajores was nice but could be a bit more buttery in the cookie part. Overall, the food was delicious but a bit pricey for a small restaurant.

We came in for lunch and ordered the shrimp saltado, avocado stuffed with chicken salad, yuca fries and plantains and they were amazing! So delicious! The staff was kind and the service was quick considering how many people were there. Would 100% come again. Get the mango agua fresca if you can - so tasty!

We have beed twice to this hidden jewel, and I must say… OH BOY! Pisco Sour was OUTSTANDING! Papa a la Huancaina, Choripan, Aji de Gallina y el Arroz con Mariscos 🦐 all were BANGING 💥. Helado de Lucuma for desert is a MUST. On this road trip we have been to a few Peruvian eateries between NY, NJ and DC and this place is at the top! The eatery is small with a couple of long high tables but outside sitting can accommodate four tables of four. Highly recommended!
