Delicious crawfish. They dont appear seasoned but they taste good and perfectly seasoned. 4 stars due to the lack of seating. When I came I was 27th in line. From time I was in and out for an order to go it took 30 minutes. The line was long due to it being the first day of lent when I visited.

The crawfish here is so good but expect really long lines and very limited seating. Went during a hot day and the indoor dining didn’t have adequate air conditioning is my only negative feedback.

The food was pretty decent but the chocolate cake had mold and fungus growing out of it. The strawberry cake was spoiled. Very spoiled. It had a very distasteful odor when I opened the bag. Old and clearly outdated. No one is checking on these cakes and they just leave them out. I really hate this was my first time here and this was my experience. I tend to always leave good reviews. But they need to be ashamed. Y’all need to do better. All Asians serving black food. I don’t understand.

Been looking for a good place to eat catfish. A friend suggested Bayou Cat. I was not disappointed at all. The fried oysters and fried catfish were amazing. Granddaughter loved the grilled cheese sandwich. Along with food being good the facility was clean and the people were very nice. I will be returning.

Great food. Great prices for the quality of food. Always a line but moves quickly so you know how good the food is. They get your orders in and out quickly and they give discounts for military veterans. The poboys are really good. I had the catfish filled kind but now I have a GO TO seafood joint.

My sister and I love this place. The catfish is always good. My sister loves the fish and shrimp. The place is always packed and busy. I just really enjoy the catfish. The prices are very reasonable. The food is always served fresh.

So I'm a MS Boy who looooves good food! I've only been here 2 years and I've found it hard to find those good spots that caters to that true MS and LA cuisine. I was recommended this place by several Mississippians and southern Louisianians, so I had high hopes. Well I can look no more for crawfish, oysters, and the hot sausage po boys cause everything was great! Oysters were fried hard to perfection. Before I ordered the Po boy I asked the young lady were the sausages made with the sausage from the red and white tub, and she said YES! I knew then my food was gonna be amazing because unless you are from the area you don't know about the red and white tub! The crawfish were seasoned through and through and were a nice size. Would definitely recommend this spot for the foods I a fore mentioned. Like others say, the line was out the door which I am accustomed to back home at the really good food spots!!!! Great food!!!

They have made so much money over the years that they have started to cut corners in a major way. We went yesterday and got shrimp and crawfish boil. The shrimp was really dry and there was no juice or seasoning in the bag ... it was just shrimp in a bag only... all types of boils have the juice and seasoning in the bag. Today my mom is having some type of sickness from what she ate here yesterday. It was very busy when we got there but that is not an excuse for poor food handling and poor food service. Needless to say we will NOT be returning.

Love the food, the ONLY New Orleans style place to get food. But...I will need for Bayou Cat to update your business hours. I drive 30 minutes to get some food, made it here at 8pm tonight...and y'all are closed! On Google and your website it says you close at 9:30pm. Disappointing. Y'all food is too good to play with my emotions. I'm sure there are plenty of people willing to take the drive for y'all food, so imma need to see some improvement. Plus, I usually call to make sure y'all are open and have crawfish but the telephone number....does not work or doesn't get answered. Hire a secretary and get the phone lines going so this business can flourish even more! People love your food, answer the phones!

I have not eaten here in a while but the food is usually decent. However they have it looking and smelling like a nasty ass corner store in New Orleans East. Bayou Cat makes too much $$ to have that eatery a mess. Yall giving us a bad look...They can keep it ��

I've been eating here for years and yesterday was the first time I've ever been disappointed. I ordered potatoes corn and a turkey neck for my kids. I had the shrimp poboy. The sandwich was good although it's a lot smaller than it use to be but the other items were all cold and the turkey neck smelled and taste sour. Considering I drove all the way from Mesquite I couldn't just bring it back. I tried calling but got no answer. this review isn't to say I'd never eat here again it's to let y'all (The owner) know something in the kitchen isn't right. I've never eaten here and said the food was nasty. But yesterday, yeah it was nasty.

Pleasant surprise, i used to come here when it was topcat. I wandered in and gave it a try my lucky day! I sat back and saw the food coming out and then ordered crawfish because it looked good and tis the season. Had the spicy crawfish and it was delicious made my lips burn with delight. Had the catfish filets and i am hooked i will be back!

My husband and I went there for the first time and we tried turkey necks gumbo and also fish and shrimp and red beans and rice all I can say is we will definitely be back again and will refer our friends!!

I can only review the crawfish because that's the only thing that I buy. They are very good but can be a bit pricey depending on when you buy them. The lines are always long. They need to get a better system on how to take orders.

The food was good..The catfish needed more seasoning, I loved the hush puppies... the red beans and rice are good too!! Reminds me of the fish back home in the Sip!! Be prepared to wait especially on Saturday!
