Schakolad Chocolate factory is AMAZING! I have had the good fortune to work with HK and the folks at the shop and can't sing their praises highly enough. I have been purchasing chocolate from her for years. Recently they did all the favors for my wedding which included 80 chocolate 3 dimensional replica's of the Capitol Dome (dark, milk and white chocolate) as well as 40 chocolate bars in the shape of the white house and 150 chocolate truffles for my guests. In prior years they have done branded chocolates for my business clients. They can do highly personalized chocolates in a variety of shapes and molds in addition to their standard selection. They are a women owned small business located in the heart of Crystal City. I highly recommend them!

Ordered chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels for my someone special who is local to this shop on Valentines day. The staff was so helpful as I tried to order her something perfect over the phone and setting up to have it surprise delivered. When the hotel had a mix up, the lady I spoke with was so helpful in finding where the gift went and making sure it got to her. Living nearly 9 hours away, had it not been for her help, it would've been a loss. My girlfriend loved it and said they were delicious! Would definitely recommend ❤

Super friendly staff, and good truffles. My favorite thing to get is the dark chocolate orange peels - they're delicious! Only reason it's not 5 stars is the limited hours, and the location is tough to find.

The staff was superbly diligent and helpful, and seemed to have a lot of fun interacting with customers - myself included - even despite being extremely busy during the Valentine’s Day rush. The chocolates are superb, with truly original flavors, and comparable to - if not better than - chocolate straight from Europe.
These chocolates make for a fantastic gift, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to surprise their loved ones with a delicious treat!

One of the best chocolates I’ve had. We got a box of choclates for Mother’s Day, and my mom and My family really enjoyed them. The owner is extremely sweet, I could not find the story and I was searching for it for about 30 minutes. The owner personally came out and guided me to her store. In all my life, I’ve never met a owner like that. She is very hardworking and very friendly. I would highly recommend this store. Her chocolates are not only delicious, there are sold at a reasonable price. I got to create my own box with 15 pieces of chocolate for only $18. Please visit this store and support the owner and her amazing chocolates.

I absolutely adore this shop. It's run by a mother and her daughters, and they are the sweetest people! I have come in regularly for holidays, departing co-workers, birthdays, pick-me-ups, any excuse I can find. They even have chocolate EGAs for Marine Corps birthdays! My go-to gifts are of course the chocolate truffles, of which they have a huge variety and adorable packaging, but their shaped chocolates are the best I've seen. They have sincere and serious gifts (a giant key reading "you're the key to my heart", an edible chocolate box filled with truffles that reads "happy birthday") to fun gag gifts (last year for Christmas my family received a set of chocolate dentures and a toothbrush) and just the straight up impressive (chocolate gingerbread houses, cornucopias for Thanksgiving, and an entirely accurate life-sized 1911 pistol!). Seasonally they'll have chocolate covered strawberries, and they have a selection of sugar-free chocolates. They have something for everyone whether you're going in there for a box of chocolates, a two-pound chocolate Santa, or just want to grab a chocolate rose to let someone know you're thinking of them. I cannot recommend this shop enough- do yourself the favor of stopping by.

Fantastic Chocolate shop with handmade treats. Great quality and unique products. These are always a hit as gifts, and the owner is very nice and helpful. They even take special orders for events like baby showers. I love small businesses and this place is one I always stop by if it's on the way or for occasions. Thank you!
