I ordered ground beef tacos, hubby ordered steak tacos. Both came with rice and Ranchero beans.
Everything was really good.
Service was very good as well. Our server was attentive and nice. 😊
It's a busy place so you may want to call ahead to reserve a table.

Enjoyed dinner and the taco bar special on Taco Tuesday. Never seen something like that but definitely enjoyed it. Shared it with another person and we had plenty to eat on. Also loved the Strawberry Margaritas!

Staff was great, and food was better. We asked for some corn tortillas, and we were brought 2 orders of corn and 1 of flour. (No extra charge 😜).. We also asked for some 1 order of roasted Jalapeños and were brought 2.... I absolutely loved the self pay!! No complaints whatsoever, I will definitely try again...

Its a very fine mexican restaurant. Totally impressed with the ambience, usually full so better make a reservation.. The food is pretty good, we enjoyed our lunch on Easter here.. They have a dessert called chocolate pinnata which is worth trying for their presentation.. We were just the 2 of us so it was too much for us but if you are a group then go for it and break that big chocolate ball.. They also have a wide variety of tequilla, 40 different brands as of what i remember and different margritas as well.. They serve wine, beer, margarita and tequilla..

This is THE premiere Mexican food MUST HAVE MUST TRY go-to chain. We had some food catered at work and the quality is so far above anything else out there. They warned me that it was going to be good and I didn't believe them. When we came into the restaurant our service was outstanding. The chips are incredible, salsa is legendary, tortillas are outstanding, and the ground beef has layers of flavor. Don't be like me and miss out for years.

I love the atmosphere here. It's so fresh and inviting. My sister has been before and was looking forward to the tableside quacamole, but Covid ruins everything, you know? They couldn't make it at the table, but they still make it and it's fantastic! I forgot to get a pic because we dug right in but it was the prettiest quac I've ever seen. I had a beef fajita bowl and it was quite tasty. My sister had the taco salad, and wow! A beautiful cornucopia of colors and flavors. I was surprised at the dessert they offer, I've never seen anything like it. It's a chocolate piñata. They give you a little mallet to crack it open and inside is a combination of pineapple, strawberries and churros. A bit too sweet for my taste and the chocolate tasted kind of fake, like that cheap Palmers chocolate, but it was a cool experience, especially if you have kids. The only thing that irritated me was their take out boxes. They were so small, those little Styrofoam divided containers. I never thought I'd care about take out boxes until I tried putting my leftovers away. All in all, a great experience. Oh, and the blackberry margarita was DELICIOUS!

First time I've ever had cilantro rice where the cilantro was just chopped on top of flavorless white rice. Thank goodness for the salty beans to mix with the rice for flavor. Boring beef tacos. Salsa and chips were good. Hard little churros. Lackluster fare,not worth what they are charging. For these prices it's better at Pappasitos.

Really good place to eat. The steak and chicken fajitas was amazing. The grilled meat was cooked to perfection. Top notch service and the salsa was awesome.

Our first visit set the tone for me. The server was harried and overwhelmed, but the food was pretty good. If not expensive. We went back for a second visit specifically for the piñata. Our service was worse and the bill was even higher. Not just because of the piñata. We actually had alcoholic beverages charged to our bill and we were not drinking. I didn’t notice until I got home (200 miles away) still we gave them a third chance. That was the charm? Certainly it was out best visit of the three. Our server was attentive, our drinks stayed full and the food was amazing. With the exception of the fajita beef. Both people at the table agreed that it wasn’t chewable. Nobody left hungry so nobody left upset.

We’ve been here since 7:30.. it’s now 9:53 pm and we still do not have our food!!! The server Sarah was not good at all! She came by once every 25 mins and now at 9:54 we still don’t have food! We have a party of 9 and all we have are drinks, cold ass chips and warm water (ice melted). The manager didn’t even know the severs name. I will NOT be back at all!! The manager had to come our entire meal

Some of the best authentic Mexican food around great customer service place is very clean I even seen the manager yesterday cleaning up a spill of rice while the server went back and got the customer some more the food is spot on hot and fresh

Uncle Julio's was amazing! My daughter Chrissy highly recommended this place. I can see why there is a wait to get seating! We spoke with the general manager as this was the first time my sisters and I had been there. He let us know that there will be a Uncle Julio's in San Antonio soon!The food was amazing, drinks were right on and Andie our waitress was the best I have seen in awhile. She kept us and all her customers well taken care off. Highly recommend this place for great Mexican food!!

Total time from arrival to leaving was 2 1/2 hours..terrible service..food was cold..waiter took our order after about 20 minutes after we were seated and then disappeared...i had to hunt him down and remind him of our order..it arrived 30 minutes later cold..we asked for extra butter..it arrived after we finished eating...will never go back..i would not recommend this place to anyone..

The staff at the I20&Matlock location is SUPERB. The service and food yesterday were excellent. Everyone needs to try a chocolate pinata--fun and delicious. Thanks to John the manager, Nancy our server, and the wonderful lady who created Maddie's pinata.

08/10/2018 arrived at uncle Julio's Arlington Texas at 7: 42 pm we were seated at 7:51, our food came at 8:43 the service was terrible my wife's bacon raped shrimp was mot cooked through the bacon was not cooked the beans was cold this was a terrible experience

It was sad that we were seated next to some very loud and overly expressive people. We couldn't enjoy our meal nor talk with each other. The server had to bend down close to hear our orders. I'd like to give it another chance in the future.
