Oak Mill Bakery has a number of beautiful wedding cakes on display at their bakery in Arlington Heights, and we started working with Bill there. The first step was to arrange a tasting. We had two of our close friends join us for a cake tasting. For an hour, we leafed through books of cake designs, and tasted various cakes and frostings. At the end we had decided on our cake design, and flavors. It was a very enjoyable experience. We ordered the cake, and provided our own topper before the wedding. The cake was absolutely beautiful, and tasted delicious. I receive numerous compliments from guests about the cake. It looked, and tasted wonderful. I recommend Oak Mill Bakery without any hesitation.

Bought a $30 what was supposed to be Tiramisu for Christmas Eve and it was Horrible. It was not made with Lady Fingers and they covered the cake with White Whipped Cream, I mean even for just a cake, this was Horrible. Will not go back to this Bakery for any reason. This is not Tiramisu

I’ve been customer for many years. Birthdays, holidays, family gatherings always with Oak Mill bakery sweets.
Unfortunately just a customer service can change everything!
I have been treated rudely and so disrespectful by associates working there. First I was refused to get my receipt paying with credit card. I was told : “ I don’t need to give it to you”- I left with regrets that I didn’t report that to the owner. Not much later lady called Marta started giving me attitude and refused to serve me. When asked why she is treating me this way she said something rude and walked away. I was left not served.
Finally just before Easter she behave similar but this time she went in the back instructed one associate to come and serve me. What is the problem with this women????? I don’t have any personal connections with her! She was standing giving me hateful looks, saying something to another associate and suddenly laughing at me!!!
Never saw anything like that before! So unprofessional, such a rude behavior and mean attitude should never be tolerated!!!
Would never recommend this place!!!

The pastries looked appetizing, but the service was horrible. A majority of the items have no names on them, and for someone like myself who has no idea about even the most standard pastries, made the experience here extremely difficult and uncomfortable to navigate through. I could see it being decent if the worker was pleasant and actually assisted us, but instead leaned against a counter across the room and had us awkwardly pointing at items asking what they were.
My boyfriend asked what a berry item was, she said it was poppy seed three times until he had to describe the color of the item, again, answering from across the room she responds with a correct answer. He asked what a cake type item was on the bottom shelf, had to describe the shape, then color, then drizzle, then size until she bent down to see what it was and answer him with attitude. Finally, he asked her what an item with chocolate chips, brown power, was..she responded with “cheesecake.” But like what type of cheesecake?
Retail/customer service sucks right now to work in, I know. But she was just rude and unprofessional, and it was an extremely awkward interaction to say the least. Another girl was working and helping out another couple that walked in after us, she seemed a bit more pleasant..wish we had her and maybe I would’ve actually boughten something..

Our wedding venue’s cake provider was Oak Mill Bakery, and we were so happy with our experience using them! We really enjoyed our cake tasting with Susan. I never would have thought we would have picked a lemon cake with raspberry filling for our wedding, but it was so good! They were also great with accommodating my request for a small dairy free cake as well. It was one of the best chocolate dairy free cakes I’ve ever had. They were both decorated the same and turned out beautifully.
