What a great dining experience. Old school service everyone who walked by that worked there helped us. You don't just have 1 waiter you have the whole staff. Food was phenomal and fantastic desserts! Talked to Carlos the owner and got the history of their restaurant and family! Highly recommend this place we will be back for sure!
The food are amazing. My favorite one is the appetizer, grilled calamari cooked in tomatoes/olives/capers sauce. The waiters and owner were very friendly to us. Highly recommend this Italian restaurant. The menu is different than your typical Italian restaurants.

An amazing meal on my second visit to Carlos & Carlos. The risotto camberi was fantastic. Last visit (2 months ago) I had the roasted beet salad (YUM) and the black (squid ink) pasta ... DELISH!!! Tried the husband’s gnocchi and it was also delicious! I shall return!

I am Italian. Went to Italy a few years ago , commented to my husband after eating. The meal and atmosphere felt like when we ate in Italy. He agreed. I only wish I found this restaurant sooner.
Good food, excellent service. Black Pasta seafood is a good choice as well as the salmon. Parking is not bad, you can find parking on the street just a short walk, or use the public garage. Make sure to make reservations on the weekends and holidays in advance.
Excellent food with great service. The owner will visit your table and remembers you each time you come back. Tucked away and not as pronounced as the other AH restaurants this is a secret gem.

Huge menu with GREAT Italian dishes. Various meat, vegetarian & fish dishes, pastas, soups, everything you'd want, especially beautiful presentation and always yum. The staff is extraordinarily warm and friendly, makes the overall experience fantastic! Have visited twice and will definitely be back! Thank you! PS. We'll try to leave room for dessert next time. :)

I admire this spot! They have splendid food, their menu is nice, The chief cook in that spot is a real authority in the kitchen, I enjoy very much trying all their food. The dishes are always of high class, the attitude towards the customers is friendly. I frequently visit this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend this place.
C&C are at the top of our Italian list and that's saying something in Chicagoland. Their Beef carpaccio is zesty and a must for the carnivores. The Veal Carlos (a signature dish) is made with mushrooms and a champagne cream reduction sauce. It is one of my favorite veal dishes of all time. I am getting hungry just thinking about it. While chicken parm isn't on the menu they are happy to make it for you. Their marinara has just enough zip and the portion was huge. It's plenty for two regular sized folks for sure. This was our second visit eating El Fresco under the stars. It felt like a cafe in Europe. Downtown Arlington Heights is just a great place to eat outside in general. Go while you still can before the weather turns back to fall!

One of the most satisfying experiences I have ever had. First, luxurious patio seating surrounded by the herbs and vegetables growing that are used in the restaurant, and with a lovely view of the fountain and park. Next, unparalleled service, with a team offering to answer your every need. Of course the food was mouth-watering. The multiple courses we tasted were each extraordinary in culinary artistry, quality, and presentation, truly prepared perfectly. The menu is traditional with thrilling splashes and unique combinations. Specials are hand-crafted and a rewarding indulgence, from cocktails all the way through to desert and after dinner drinks. We were fortunate during our visit to have the attention of one of the members of the family that owns/runs the establishment and we we’re catered to with a respect and generosity that was heart-warming. This is one of those local businesses that we will ask everyone to support because they value your patronage so much you can feel it and are treated so exceptionally you will want to return.

I constantly stop getting some food in here. I enjoy the prompt customer service and well cooked dishes. Never disappointing.
