Very nice market. I love the selection and variety that the market has. The restaurant have very delicious food and desserts. Make sure to stop by the book store for unique imports straight from Japan. The bakery at the back has very delicious bread and pastries!
A Japanese grocery store with a food court and bookstore. Mitsuwa is great if you need Japanese kitchen staples or want to try something new. The restaurants in the food court are very good and there is also a selection of prepared sushi and other meals you can take home.
Go on a weekday to avoid long lines of teens. There is a fairly large assortment of hard to find Asian imports. Unfortunately, Covid has taken its toll. Some items may not currently be available.
I highly suggest stopping at the Happy Hippo bakery in the grocery section for great French and Asian
I adore Mitsuwa Marketplace. I can never get enough of the food at the food court. They have mostly Japanese food options and at least one Korean food stand, but definitely not complaining. Every stall has such delicious food. There is also a bakery on the marketplace side which has the best potato

Bread is superb. All items are very fresh and displayed well. Covid-19 precautions are well implemented. Entry regulations are well disciplined.
So many cool items! I really enjoyed my visit here! Many little shops as well selling boba tea, desserts, ramen, and other goodies! One trip definitely didn’t cover it all! Long time customer of the store n food court, before it was rebranded..yes..that was more than 20 years ago.. Those who has been here will know what they offer in terms of fresh food, groceries, bakeries, desserts, snacks books, appliances...list goes on. Arguably one of the best Ramen in Chicago
