I enjoyed watching the Super unknown band perform here! We upgraded our seats to Tier 1 which enables is to get a good view from the balcony. Drinks were reasonably priced and I liked the fact that the staff ensured anyone who wasn't Tier 1 wasn't allowed in the seating area. It was worth drive from NYC.
We decided it was time to get back to life so we bought tickets for Cowboy Junkies at AMH and we will be back. What a great venue. The views of the stage were great and the drinks were surprisingly reasonable! The staff were also so nice and helpful.
Love this venue! And the way they have remodeled it since the pandemic. The sound is excellent, and the views from anywhere in the building are awesome. And the food they serve is pretty good taboot, taboot! Highly recommend this place to anyone in the Philly area.
Great venue! Had an awesome time for a themed night. Recommend parking in the lot that’s a couple-few blocks away, it was free, and made it less stressful vs street parking.

At this stage, I see it as the beautiful and inexplicable -- yet entrancing concept between love and logic.

Poetry is art with words.
Music is the art of poetry in rhythm.
Rhythm requires a melodic tone.
Humans are delightfully melodic in their variety.
For me, this venue was stimulating and inspirational.

I saw Flobots with a friend last night. What an amazing experience! Ive never been to a venue like this for a concert, and after attending one at Ardmore music hall, im afraid i may have been spoiled! The vibes were great, drinks were reasonably priced, and the staff was overall quite friendly. I guess my friend and I were hanging around a bit too long, and one of the staff ended up having to encourage us to leave. I dont consider that a negative. He was very professional about it, and I didnt feel like i was getting "kicked out". I hope to attend more events here in the future!
The Ardmore Music Hall is a great venue, probably one of the best in the Philadelphia area. They host all kinds of acts from stand up comedy to Victor Wooten, perhaps the best bassist in the world today. The staff is incredible (at least four or five of my fantastic friends work there) and those who I do not know are also awesome. They are there to help you safely have a good time and they do a great job at it. Coat check is available for just a few bucks, the food is great and they have an ever changing but always awesome selection of IPAs.
The AMH also has a huge heart. Two of my favorite shows there were memorial concerts for members of the Philly music scene who passed, both - sadly - gone long before their time. The first memorial was for Mark Watson, a well known and much adored drummer, who both I and my brother played music with many times. I was lucky enough not only to know Mark and play music with him, but I performed at his memorial to honor him as well. Very much more recently (just a week or two ago), was the memorial for Ian McGuire. Ian was well known as a true virtuoso and an extremely kind and unique soul. This was exceptionally touching and inspiring event where the community came together to grieve, but mostly to celebrate the life of Ian McGuire. In the pictures that I post, the screen in the background hlbegind the stage is showing a touching sideshow of pictures of Ian. What a beautiful thing for the Ardmore Music Hall to embrace.
If the AMH was closer to my house, I would be there a few times a week. What a fantastic venue.
Saw Dumb As You Are Nirvana Tribute and Somebody Else's Sky Pearl Jam Tribute. Great show.
