Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant

Not sure what happened to this place, it used to be good. The waitress hardly talked to us and I had to keep grabbing people to get my drink filled. I ordered the Italian Tour for $20 (Lasagna, parm chicken and fettuccine). The plate came out with no Lasagna - after waiting 5 minutes I went to the back to find our waitress. She grabbed the spoon from my wife's hand and dug on the plate - "see, the Lasagna is under the chicken". There was just meat sauce. We just finished and left - never going back. Hit this place up while out of town on vacation and they were great! By far the best food we had while on vacation. This place is low-key and cozy. They had a pianist playing which was cool. Our waitress was beyond nice and very attentive. Will definitely make a stop by here again next time we come through.

Nice place, I had the calamari for an appetizer and shrimp Alfredo for the main course. The calamari was good and crispy, the shrimp Alfredo was really good also. It was creamy and tasted amazing, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. I will definitely be back especially since I see they have a Greek salad. Also eat the bread they give you while it’s warm because once it gets cold it gets very hard 🤷🏾‍♂️

Met a friend there for a late lunch. It was a halfway meet so neither of us had ever been there. It was not a lot to look at from the outside, location-wise and building-wise. Inside was quaint. But OH THE FOOD!!! I ordered chicken piccata. It was out of this world - perfection! My friend ordered the chicken Alfredo and it did not disappoint! Oh, and the best dinner rolls! Too far to drive for me to go often, but I highly recommend it nonetheless. A real gem of a place! Very good service too! Give this place a try, it’s easily 5 stars!
