The owner of this restaurant told me that he uses spices mixture from scratch. No wonder all cuisines tastes different and don't have an overpowering use of spices. Which is why you don't leave feeling bloated with spices but only filled with food and fresh ingredients made from scratch-which is how I expect my food to be made. The staffers and owners have acted on their passion and it shows on the food and their hospitality. BTW, the owner also told me that he backs up his food with satisfaction guaranteed - not happy with food you will be issued a full refund! Now that's how food businesses should be done! I have tried over a dozen Indian restaurants in MN, I can proudly say: this is the BEST Indian restaurant in MN!

This place has risen to top spot for us when it comes to Indian food in Minneapolis/St. Paul. If you are eating/ordering one thing, its got to be Amritsari Kulcha, One of the best things I have eaten in cities, if you like spicy food go for level 4 but if not stick to lower numbers like 2 or 3. This place has real spice scale so be very careful if ordering 4s or 5s. Next few dishes we ordered and enjoyed were Saag and Makki ki roti, sambhar dosa which were top notch too. A few curries we ordered were pretty average, so I recommend stick to street food and you will walk out loving this place.

A very nice local family owned local restaurant. Freshly cooked food off the stove or oven. Impressively authentic. Warmhearted owner couple greeted and talked to customers. Highly recommended dining in.

Heard about this place from my friend 2 years ago for the Amritsari chole kulchey. Finally we are here and it was worth the praise. Also they have a huge selection of vegetarian entrees which is rare in Indian restaurants here in Minneapolis. Service: 4 Stars Taste: 4 Stars Quantity: 5 Stars Vegan/Veg Options: 5 Stars We also ordered one idli sambhar for a kid and it was not good. Neither the idlis or the sambhar, chutney. I have heard that the Amritsari choley kulchey are the best when the owner i

The food and service was spectacular. If I had to be nitpicky I'd say the service was a bit slow but it didn't affect the overall experience and it was worth the wait. A great place to get Indian food, we can't wait to come back!

Good food, good service, good ambience. We had a good time. We ordered the amritsari kulcha with pindi cholay, malai kofta and peshawri naan. Everything was excellent, kulcha being slightly spicier than we thought. At first I was confused because Iโ€™m from Peshawar and we donโ€™t have naan like that, but then I understood that the different breads embody the regional flavor and are in fact Namasteโ€™s own creation. In that sense the resins, nuts, and sweeter flavor very much suited Peshawar. The spicy potato and cheese stuffing with butter topping of the kulcha was reminiscent of Punjabi flavors. I am thoroughly intrigued and look forward to trying out the other breads. What can I say, Iโ€™m a bread person! The curries were also nice

I dont know how this place has 4.5 star rating. This place deserves more. Space is limited but cozy. Food is top notch. In my 20 plus years in Minneasota I have not experienced such delight while dining out. I am foodie myself and have high bar when it comes to Indian cooking. The head chef and restaurateur is highly trained in hotel management. I would recommend this to everyone .. a gem in itself. Do try Makkai ki Roti and Sarso Saag.
