the BEST chile relleno EVAH! Comes in a lava bowl ... savory sauce, tortillas .. it was too much to eat it all & I didn't even GET the rice. Am going to have my celebratory going away\congratulations dinner here!

It's always a gamble when you go out to eat at a Mexican restaurant this far away from the Southern border, but boy was I happy to find this little place. This slice of heaven brings me back to my Southern California roots and satisfied my deep need for good Mexican Cuisine every once in awhile. Great food, great service, I Love Fregoso's!

A small menu of delicious food. They start you off with homemade chips and salsa. I would highly recommend the Molcajete, a mixed variety of a bunch of different food. If you're extra hungry the octopus appetizer was amazing! Only downfall is they don't have hard alcohol so their margaritas are made with wine

The best Mexican restaurant in town. Chips and salsa are the best. Food presentation was great. Staff are nice. Most authentic Mexican food I've had in Humboldt.

Everything I’ve had has been made from scratch. The meals are great and don’t mess up my stomach afterwards. The pineapple juice is great even made in house. The enchiladas are awesome.

Fantastic. Fresh ingredients, excellent service, cheerful atmosphere. We ordered paella, tacos asada, guacamole, and burrito. Everything was delicious. You'll want to share burrito unless you havent eaten in 2 days.

Slightly fancier than your average taqueria, but the prices don't reflect that. Really great carnitas! Excellent shrimp! The rice and beans are different and delicious! Victoria was only $3! I loved it!

Really good margaritas! Get a double shot as they are a little weak. But the happy hour is awesome. $5 margaritas, I got the blood orange and it was delicious. $1.50 tacos, I recommend carnitas. And $1.50 oysters and $2 coronas. Oh and the salsa is so good!

Good happy hour every day. Different take on classic mexican dishes. Everything is fresh and obviously made to order. Solid.

Pretty Good ! We were actually going to the burger place across the way, but they weren't open yet. So we spotted this place , and came here instead. Glad the burger place was closed . Pleasantly surprised. Very good! And inexpensive too ! 👍👍👍
