We did not stumble across this place by accident. A friend knew we were going up north and asked if it was not too far out of the way if we could pick up some of the mustard sauce this place is locally known for. Since it was about lunch time anyway we decided to eat here.
Staff was friendly the fo
I drove 26 hours from Idaho for these bagels that I remembered from my childhood. They did not disappoint & are even better than I remembered.
I ended up getting almost one of everything of their baked goods and was happily surprised because I loved them all. I also got a beautiful mug that is MASS
Absolutely delicious and a Humboldt staple!
I’ve been dreaming about the bagel I had since I last visited! Highly recommend grabbing breakfast at Los Bagels!
Love this place! Fresh food, awesome area and super cool vibe ☮️ The street picture is no longer accurate of the layout. They have converted the left side parking lot into outdoor seating. This really makes for an inviting place to chill if you are not sitting in the equally as inviting inside. Grab
This review is long overdue! My bf and I had spent the night in Arcata and decided to grab some breakfast before we left. Wow what a great decision that was. To begin, we walked in and not two mins later there was a line out the door-we missed the crowd. We chatted with the very nice people in line
This place came highly recommended from two folks familiar with the area including a local. I'm always in search of decent bagels outside of New York. I had the Grandpa Goren which has lox, cream cheese, red onions and capers. I was only going to eat half but ended up eating the whole thing. I co
I hate to say this because everyone in this small town loves this place and maybe they don’t know what good bagels taste like.
That said, my everything bagel was probably the best tasting bagel I ever had in my life.
I’d give it 6 stars but the wait on Sunday morning was about a half hour long.
If you are looking for a quick place to have a delicious breakfast, lunch or snack - look no further. This. Is. It.
Excellent bagel shop, a must go every time I come visit. The bagels are delicious and fresh. So many unique things about this place - I love that they make ‘slugs’ which are long bage
While on a road trip through the area we decided to stop here for breakfast. The vibe/energy was great and the food was even better. The service was quick and the employees were happy to answer all of our questions since the menu is pretty extensive with sooo many options. Delicious coffee, amazing
Charming spot with a beautiful origin story. This place was on top of my list for my two day visit. Vegan/vegetarian friendly with great coffee, sweets, and canned drinks. Kicking myself for not buying some merch.
There's nothing like this place anywhere in the central valley. I'd make the 6 hr trip just to eat here.
Such simple food but always hits the spot no matter what.
Bagels always fresh. Everything always fresh. Might see a line but that's always a good sign of excellent food from great establishments.
Best bagel I've ever had! Clean, cute shop. Friendly staff. Great gift shop! One of the best places I visited in California.
Stopped here on our way up the coast and omg. The Thai bagel (peanut butter, cucumbers, carrots, scallions, sesame seeds, jalapeño jelly) is amazing and unlike anything I’ve ever had before - perfectly crunchy, spicy, and has a hint of sweetness with the jalapeño jelly. My husband got the lox and sa
Hands down the best bagelry I’ve ever been too! If you’re in town or passing by this is a must. Great bagels made fresh and with super fresh ingredients.
My favorite is the Slug bagel with their famous slug slime everything topping. You can also buy their topping bottled to take home.
This visit I
Gem worth checking out if you’re in the area - I got the Cucubin pictured below, the slug (long everything bagel) w cucumber, cream cheese, larrupin (mustard-y sauce) and slug sauce (everything seasoning) It was so good, layered really well so you get all the flavors in each bite.
Pastry was great
Yesterday was the Fourth of July Jubilee in the plaza, an event that could have produced immense amounts of waste if beer was served in plastic cups and all the food on disposable plates. Instead, beer was served in reusable restaurant-style cups and some food vendors used reusable restaurant-style
