This place is in the holy trinity of Catonsville area pizza. Decent pie - the sauce is the best. Crust is lacking. Cheese is plentiful.

I’m 39 years old and have been eating here at Sorrento‘s for as long as I can remember. It’s always been our family’s, and we have a extremely large family, dining spot. Definitely a family tradition. Unfortunately post Covid, Sorrento‘s has gone way downhill. I don’t know what’s going on with the pizza, but it’s nowhere near as good as it used to. New sauce? New cheese? Sorrento‘s now delivers, well when they feel like it. 90% of the time that I’ve called to have food delivered they have not had drivers available.Lastly, they need to fix their hours. It’s states on here, Yelp, even the actual restaurant that they close at 10pm however they seem to close between 9 and 9:30 or whenever the hell they want. So which time is it? 9? 9:30? 10? Sorrento’s - PLEASE get it together! My family and I would love to continue supporting this local small business, where we’ve made many memories, but you must do better.

Excellent Cheesesteak sub. Very juicy with great flavor. Packed with meat. I wanted a slice of pizza. They did not offer slices at the time that I visited. They offered a small deep dish pizza to me. I tried it. Glad I did. It was outstanding. This was the juiciest pizza I have ever eaten. It was juice, not grease. The toppings were abundant. I will be returning soon to try other items from their extensive menu.

This place used to be so good! I don’t know what happened, maybe new management, but it’s horrible. I ordered delivery and the slim guy with the ponytail usually drops off and is very kind & quick with it! But, recently I ordered delivery and it was a new person; I received my food cold, the ice in my drink was melted and I received my food two hours later, AFTER they had closed. And to top it off, I received the wrong meal! I ordered a regular cheesesteak with the works, when I opened my sandwich it was FILLED with shrimp. I’m allergic! I’m happy I didn’t bite into it!
The pizza for my son was hard, with barely any cheese and sauce, and his wings were undercooked! It was ridiculous! So after two hours of waiting for our food, it was undercooked, underwhelming and COLD! We ended up just throwing it away, it was not edible! I don’t know what happened to you guys, but it needs to be fixed.

Earlier in the year Sorrentos was incredible! The pizza was amazing, and the customer service was impeccable. To the point they would grab my order then greet me. My first time back in 3 months. I placed my order online at around 5:26 to be ready at 6:15. I walk into the establishment and immediately the older gentleman (I’m assuming the manager) stares me down. I get to the counter, grab my soda and the girl there was nice and told me “it isn’t ready yet I’ll let you know”. Still the man staring the entire time. I go sit down in the waiting area and person after person walks in & out, in & out. At 7:05 the same guy walks past me without even asking if I need help, I’m only sitting there with a 2 liter ya know. He then proceeds to hang a poster, then almost walk past again until I asked him “when will the cheese pizza be ready?” He goes around the corner and calls my name, it’s been done. Not only did no one call my number, no one even acknowledged my existence. The pizza was cold, barely any cheese, or sauce. Just a terrible experience all around. Next time I’ll just get the sauce they use, Don Pepino sauce at any grocery, and make my own 👍🏻

My last 2 visits have been discouraging to say the least. I grew up here in Arbutus area & remember Sorrentos. We recently moved back to the area & all was great with our 1st visit. The last 2 times I ordered take-out, and was disappointed with the service and the food. As a customer, I do not appreciated being dismissed as if I don't matter. I sure hope things get better, because there are some hard workers that do their best and some good items on the menu. Only time will tell!!

I have visited 2x in the last month and both times met with disappointment. I ordered extra cheese both times, and both times had a thin layer. The first time they remade the pizza no problem, this time the woman at the register had an attitude after failing to convince me the paper thin cheese was equivalent to the additional $2 they charge for it. They also disregarded the well done request when remaking the pizza, but I was annoyed with the additional time I already spent after trying to save time on my trip home by preordering. Definitely disappointed because I like the flavor of the pizza most of the time and it’s the closest I’ve found so far to “home” style pizza of CT. I won’t be back.

Decent place to sit down and eat. The pizza was not good. Like surprisingly not good, but the cheese steak and margarita were good.
I would go back, but avoid the pizza.
