Fish Head, fun place, great food, Cold Beer, and the best hidden secret for Sushi, if your looking for good food, I highly recommend you Hit up this place and Eat the Sushi.... Tell them a crazy Blonde sent you ...
If we are being honest, eating out with kids is one of those things that sounds like a good idea at the time, but 30 minutes into it you have made repeated trips to the bathroom, with each kid, separately, there is orange soda spilled down your leg, and the only person who is ready to order is asking for Frosted Flakes. So I was a little apprehensive about having two 14 year olds, and three kids under the age of 7, out on a Friday. I'm happy to say, this time, things would be different... The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is welcoming, and the food was delicious. Our meal was served promptly, and without a single mistake (which is impressive considering we had Shirley Temples, a special order burger that resembled nothing on the actual menu, and one kid asking for 'whipped cream' when they really wanted sour cream). Even as the dining area became full, the staff remained thoughtfully attentive, without making us feel rushed. Overall, a surprisingly great experience!
Been awhile since I’ve eaten at Fishhead. Tried their sushi- so good!! one of the BEST sushi rolls I’ve ever eaten. (I’m already thinking about when I can go back for more). Still Just as good as I remember the place many years ago- attentive service in an atmosphere conducive to conversation (I was with my sister)-everyone was so polite too!! Great to see the joint still bustling!
I will recommend this place to anyone. The owner is amazing as well as the wait staff. They made sure that my sister in law had an amazing bachelorette party and a night she will never forget.
Had a great dinner on the patio recently. TJ, our server/bartender took excellent care of us and our little people. Highly recommend you check it out and go back frequently.
Our first visit here for lunch today and we had a great experience. Service was good and the food was excellent. Fresh and tasty. You can tell that the chef(s) and or cooks take pride and care in the food they prepare. My husband had the rockfish tacos, I had the buffalo chicken wrap, and my Dad had the small plate cheesesteak which was perfect for him. All delicious. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
Friendly staff and great tacos and quesadillas! This place has a super unique and clean atmosphere and drinks are super cheap on happy hour. It can definitely get a little too busy for me on the weekends and when big bands are playing, but places are busy because they are legit. I recommend checking this spot out if you haven't.
This place is absolutely amazing!!! They really came through for my sisters bachelorette party! We attended "Magic Mike Live" and had an awesome time. The food here is crazy good, the wait staff is very attentive, and the manager Mike went above and beyond to make sure that our entire party had an unforgettable night. We will definitely be back! Try the sushi yall!
Very friendly staff as always. The food is excellent. Editing because we tried the sushi today. It was great!! The shrimpaholic roll was delicious. I cant remember our servers name but she was awesome, remembers everything!! And really patient when I wanted to change my mind last second. It was our 2nd time being served by her. We'll have to catch her name next time. Thanks Head cantina
Great food and drinks! Whitney is always attentive, and on point. We come up here regularly, and always enjoy ourselves.
This place is amazing. Their chili nachos are to die for. Their shrimp tempura sushi is amazing. Their beers are ice cold. The service is the bomb. BEST. PLACE. EVER!!
Great place. Great ppl and staff. Had one bartender, Whitney, she was so quick to serve and very friendly
Frequented this place once upon a time, and order takeout from here a few times a year still. The food is always awesome whether you're dining in or carrying out, even getting delivery. The bartenders have always been great. Decent billiard tables, and the concert venue out back is roomy enough to not feel like you're gonna get trampled. Usually have lots of good local, and some not-so-local acts. Never disappoints!
I have visited this spot twice and had sushi each time. They have a sushi bar where they make the sushi fresh. They have live bands on the weekends mostly Rock and roll.
There's a bar, music, and sushi is one place. Did you realize that there would be any place as cool. There's limited to no drama and everyone is friendly. Are you interested in pool, then check out their tables at fair prices. The steak bites are my all time favorite, but the sushi never lets me down.
After a mixed first visit in 2021 we've gone back here 5-6 times and had better experiences especially with food.
May '23 they're currently under construction inside is closed except the bathrooms. Outdoor seating was nice, but music too loud in the main hall for a Sunday lunch.
They have a large billiard section and concerts in their outdoor half covered stage area.
Baltimore Roll (pic) is a pass. Last visit I tried it again, but the bacon on top was so hard and dried out that it didn't chew nor breakup. I had to scrape it off. The rest of the roll was decent.
The Rock-n-Roll roll (pic multicolored w/ sauce on top) was great. Finally found a favorite.
Wife's vegetarian rolls (pic) were the best on this last visit. Hmm, maybe a new chef?
First visit 2021: Posted 2 photos of nachos. When it came out it looked pretty baller, but all those toppings except for the cheese are only on the top. So there's nothing on 2/3 of the nachos below. There is cheese under there (other pic) that cheese was not melted.
I got the chili on the side and I sent it back. I respect that they are trying to do some homemade different tasting chili with little beef tips in it, but it's really not coming together. The beef tips were dry and the taste was just weird. I later learned it had coffee in it and I'm thinking why would you do that to beef eww. Chili from Wendy's is much tastier.
We also got a round of sushi and my vegetarian wife was pretty happy that they had a few options for her, but frustrated that when she called ahead they said they would not upcharge for a soy paper instead of seaweed. Then they did up charge for it. I also thought at $14 I was ordering a dinner size roll, but you can see the picture of the single roll with the tempura shrimp sticking out is not a dinner size roll. Yes, that skimpy roll is $14.
During the pandemic we did hit this place for brunch one time and I got to say that was pretty good, the breakfast, food and pancakes are on point that morning.
Love the atmosphere, live shows are awesome & super fun! Pool tables are clean, level, and balls roll beautifully! Food & drinks are great & so is the service. No complaints here! Will definitely be back :)
Really great food. I do wish they would update the menu occasionally, however their offerings are delicious and consistent. This restaurant is ALWAYS crowded.. which tells you a lot about the food. But this may be a concern if you want prompt service and social distancing... hence the 4 stars... update...I went back a month later and had their new menu items. The sushi was fantastic! The guests were seated comfortably distanced and I had a great time!
Our food was delicious! The sushi was fresh and the steamed shrimp w/ onions and potatoes was awesome! Our server, Betty was awesome!! She was on point!! Another one of the servers / managers, Courtney was very engaging! I will definitely be back!! Thanks ladies!!
First time eating at Fish Head Cantina and MOST DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE MY LAST!! We ordered 2 sushi rolls to start. The Spicy Tuna was amazing and probably the best I've ever tasted. It was bursting with flavor and just enough heat to make it interestingly delicious! Next we got the Rock and Roll. Again, the very best version of a R&R I've had the pleasure of enjoying. Finally our Buffalo Chicken wrap arrived and it too did not disappoint! With just the right amount of Buffalo sauce it was not drenched and wet like most places. What made this Wrap pop were the blue cheese crumbles wrapped up within. We opted out of the chips and asked for their battered fries and we are so happy we did!
The staff was amazing, super friendly and attentive! I can't wait to go back! SOON!!!
I've moved to US some months ago, and I randomly found this place searching for good cover band places. Food was awesome, service was really nice and music was terrific.
I will get there again for sure!
Ordered takeout.
The food was delicious and the portions were huge! They definitely have different pricing for UberEats so it's best to call in your order.
If your loved one is staying at the nearby hospital and is tired of hospital food, this is a solid choice.
My only complaint is I couldn't stay and have a few beers.
Went to see a local band festival here. This was my first time here. The outdoor set up with the tables, umbrellas and games is nice. Decent beer selection. Nice staff. Not sure I'd eat sushi from a place like this, I'm a bit paranoid in that arena, and the concept of this being a sushi bar strikes me as mismatched for the atmosphere and overall vibe. The steak tips were good. Overall laid-back place and would return.
This was a great find. The Steak Bites appetizer is phenomenal - I could seriously just eat 5 orders of that and be gloriously stuffed and happy. We also happened to stop by when they were playing Boombox Bingo and that was very entertaining.
This past Saturday was the first time that I visited the Fish Head Cantina and it will not be my last. In response to the pandemic, the indoor dinning area was closed and we unfortunately picked a steamy day to go, but it was not too bad since they had the patio fans going. We ordered the Drunken Rockfish bites, Shrimpaholic Sushi Roll, Old Bay Wings and Tots. All of the food was ridiculously delicious, but the Shrimpaholic Sushi Roll was out of this world. It was a unique roll that stands out from the rest of Sushi Rolls.... So good and so disappointed when it was all gone. The bar makes a killer whiskey sour that was refreshing. They must have an in-house sweet and sour mix because it was truly refreshing (not too sour & not too sweet). Our waiter was super awesome and I wish I would've gotten his name because he was on the ball. The restaurant was very clean, tables were socially distanced and there was hand sanitizing stations. A recommendation I would suggest is maybe to give the hostess some pointers as she was so timid that we didn't realize she worked there when we walked in since she didn't acknowledge us. We both must've looked a bit lost and someone from the bar came out to tell us we needed to check in with the hostess. I highly recommend this Fish Head Cantina and can't wait to go back again. 🍣
Huge menu with something for everyone. Great servers, great happy hour deals. All around great spot for food and drinks.
My first time at Fish Head Cantina, but not my last! This place is an absolutely amazing place to go see live music. The sound is excellent! The staff were very nice, everyone from the door man, bartenders, and waitresses. Plenty of food options, and great quality too! I have been to many shows over the years and you'll be hard pressed to find a venue more fun than Fish Head Cantina! Prices for drinks were quite reasonable as well.
Sushi is great, and I’m not a huge sushi fan!
Drinks were underwhelming but had a great lunch date nonetheless.
Great place to hang, fun staff, great food and even better sushi! They even do weekly events such as trivia or music bingo, and live music! Family friendly or night out with the gang, Fish Head always hits!
Stopped in after work to try their sushi, and it was great! I had the salmon and chicken teriyaki fushi rolls and they were sooo good!! Highly recommend! The total sushi menu is mind-blowing with options!
I loved everything about this place a must try great everything 💖
