Atmosphere was great with a good selection of beers. I had the Vodka Shrimp and felt it was one of the best meals I ever had. My wife had the Pad Thai which she asked for no tomatoes and it came with tomatoes. We were comped a free dessert, so it was all good. Service seemed to be all over the place with people being turned down with no reservations and empty tables everywhere. Some workers were over working to compensate for several that were just standing around.

When they first opened the food was reasonably priced delicious and it was a nice place to sit and have a meal and socialize. NOW!? The menu is something you would find in some yuppie neighborhood, 25 dollars for a burger!!! yikes. We are in the Midwest, not in some gentrified neighborhood in Chicago very disappointed and sad, not one of your finer moves Houdini's, I think Harry Houdini would be ashamed to have his name linked to something like this. Was very unimpressed with my meal and the atmosphere in general. Altogether for two people my bill was over 100 not including tip.😱

Had a great selection of beer and drinks, went for dinner. It was amazing, had brussel sprouts for an appetizer, DAMN! were they good, also had the blackened mahi mahi tacos and my wife had Oaxaca tacos both were delicious. Service was also good, kids menu $5 and it was also good

We were so disappointed…. We came all the way from Madison to visit the Houdini exhibit at the Castle Museum and then finish with a dinner at Houdinis Escape. We waited from 3-4 in the parking lot waiting for the restaurant to open (there were employees coming and in and out the service entrance) at 4 we went to the door to see a hand written “closed on June 25th” which was not updated on google and the employee who were coming and going did not share when they saw us waiting… soooooo disappointing!!!!

First visit. Sat on the patio, which was lovely. The whole place has an inviting, clean, modern vibe. I had the cheesesteak sandwich with risotto and a cup of French onion soup. My wife had the banh MI sandwich. Everything was delicious. The ingredients were flavorful and fresh. This was a great first impression. Recommended.

Highly recommend! My husband & I had dinner here - it was fantastic!! We had the homeade chips, they were crunchy and delicious. For my meal I had the white chicken chili & Triple Pork Cuban. Both were awesome! The chili was seasoned perfect and the sandwich was deliciously filling. Our waitress was phenomenal - very polite and timely. The overall experience was great and we'll definitely be going back!!

Today I tried the crab cake sandwich. It was delicious. The pickled onions on to were the only thing I could have had a few less of, but they went well with my Eagle Rare bourbon. The side of truffle Mac could stand on it's own here. Couldn't eat it fast enough. My only hitch for this review was for what you get is just a little over priced. $5 less and I'd say the atmosphere of the place would balance out the small portion size you over pay for. I'll be back regardless.

We went for brunch on Sunday at 10:30 with a group of 6. We were seated immediately and the hostess was very nice. She seated us in the back room because it was warmer back there which I thought was very nice. The table was a little small for a group of 6 but we made due. The food was fantastic! I would highly recommend the chicken and waffles if they have that special when you are there. Another of our party had the Wisconsin Benedict and she would highly recommend it. Definitely skip the orange juice and go for the mimosa though...my orange juice was $5 so I'm fairly certain the mimosa was the cheaper of the options. Overall, the ambiance was very nice, we had excellent service and our food was very good. We will be back!
