Review Cafe Verona - Apopka

We got a white cheese pizza with garlic as topping. The garlic added as a topping was the kind you buy in the grocery store. (The kind that tastes like it had been soaked in formaldehyde.) Too bad Verona's does not use FRESH garlic. Garlic bulbs really don't cost that much! I wasn't told you'd be using the non oil-based kind. Had I thought to ask, I wouldn't have ordered the pizza knowing what KIND of garlic you use!

A great place to visit for homemade local food. Small family business that has great food and friendly employees. Our food was served quickly, fresh and very hot. They have a great variety of pasta, seafood, deserts, and drinks. We were checked on regularly to see if we needed anything. Our experience was great and we will keep coming back.

Got food from here for lunch today, deluxe calzone and spicy ranch wings and it was delicious definitely our new go to spot 👍🏼

Fantastic food and friendly service!!! I got the fire cracker shrimp and a Greek salad. Delicious and homemade sauce on shrimp. Salad was huge and dressing one of the best. My Husband had the cheese steak sub, it was large enough for two meals, bread very soft and tasty. It was gone before I could get pictures. This place has been here a long time and now I know why.

I love their garlic wing ( coated with fresh garlic in many varieties) and today I had the chef salad pictured which the real deal. You get delicious quality dinning for great price.

Well even though it says dine in. You actually can not. Ordered pizza to go. Place is small but busy. Pizza was good. Quickly made. Recommend order for pickup.

Went for the first time after seeing all the good reviews on Dec 1st. We walk in and there is no seats other then in the back room. Then the waitress basically ignored me when I asked if we could be moved once another spot opened. Then she started yelling at someone in the kitchen with my kids sitting there one being under 2yrs old. Highly disappointed...

Very disappointed in our first visit after hearing so many rave reviews and it was my husband's birthday :( service was fair but her attitude was not friendly at all, food was fair, a little over done and the food that was good was not what I ordered as the waitress "heard" deluxe pizza instead of deluxe calzone even though I pointed to it on the menu and asked for no mushrooms. She offered to remake it but I was not going to wait another 45 minutes with 3 children that would be finished eating along with everyone else by the time I got my food and we had other birthday plans after dinner. :(

My husband and I had the deluxe cheesesteak lunch for 7.99 and it was incredible. We highly recommend this place for any of their food.

Horrible customer service...stood at the counter for ten minutes waiting to order dinner and the lady behind the was too busy cleaning to even acknowledge us...not one look, not one word.

Was looking for good pizza and wings that delivered. We totally found it! Definitely ordering from here again! Pizza tastes homemade and loaded with toppings and wings were huge and crispy.

I would do -5 stars for a resturant owner that thinks it’s ok to tell a woman how she can breastfeed. Poor business, crappy owner, crappy food. Avoid at all cost. You legally cannot shame a mother for breastfeeding. It’s against the law.

First time going couple days ago and worst customer service ever.... waitress yelling at the cooks in my ear... she was beyond rude... we walked out and went else where...

Food was OK but definitely did not live up to the hype everyone gave it. Service was not great. Will probably not return.

Had the pepperoni pizza and poppers last night. it is The best pizza since moving to Orlando/apopka from Hawaii. A generous amount of cheese, great taste/bite on the pepperoni and all around comfort taste. Poppers were great as usual, and oozed with goodness. will definitely be back, as for me and my wife we love this place on the weekends as our treat to ourselves!!

383.015 Breastfeeding.—The breastfeeding of a baby is an important and basic act of nurture which must be encouraged in the interests of maternal and child health and family values, and in furtherance of this goal: (1) A mother may breastfeed her baby in any location, public or private, where the mother is otherwise authorized to be, irrespective of whether the nipple of the mother’s breast is uncovered during or incidental to the breastfeeding. You have no right to address a nursing mother and ask her to cover up, period.

We were wanting to go for the longest time and we finally went and boy was the food great! Customer service was awesome too! We will be back! Thank you Cafe Verona!

The food is pretty good when the young lady is there but today I went had the worst experience with the owner he is very rude and have such a nasty attitude and would loose a lot of customers with such a nasty attitude like that. I ordered wings and a steak sub today but when I left I realized my order was screwed up after waiting 45 mins for this order so I called back and the gentleman told me he would remake them so when I returned I encountered the owner who snatched the wings and slammed them in the trash and with such a harsh tone asked what what do you want and I said I thought you were remaking my wings and he said no do you want your money back and I said I want my wings and he we can't make the wings with light garlic get your money back. Not only were those wings messed up but the lemon pepper I ordered the day before were nasty and today my steak sub was dry, nasty and barely had any meat in it. I would not recommend ordering anything from here if the young lady is not there, when she's there the steaks are juicy seasoned good and have a lot of meat!

Any establishment thinking they are above the law and asking a mother that was feeding her child to cover up or leave, shouldn’t be in business. They don’t even deserve 1 star. You will not be getting my business!

A great place to eat all the food has been very good that we have tried.

One of the things that makes a great establishment is the way they treat their customers. I had a friend of mine that went to her family to eat their for her BIRTHDAY with her baby and unfortunately was told to cover her baby while she breastfed or leave. She rushed to eat her food and basically left in tears. This is not the way to treat a paying customer or make them feel welcomed. Management, it is legal in the state of Florida to breastfeed your baby! Whether they are covered or not. I suggest that since you own a business do you find the copy of that law and apply it to your restaurant. If you need a copy please let me know I will be more than happy to supply you with one. As for the food it's ok.
