Gator's Dockside Of Apopka

Food is below average. Had boneless wings (8 count) which looked like mini chicken nuggets. The sauce did not cover the whole wings and they were pretty dry. Onion petals were good but was charged as appetizer instead of a side. It would had been better if a combo was offered like they do for lunch, then it will be worthwhile. My friend ordered regular wings (8 count) and a side of mac and cheese and they were okay. We each had a beer and for what we paid it was not worth it. I could've gotten a better meal somewhere else. Our server was super nice, friendly and checked on us often. Can't beat the beer price either but I was disappointed. The restaurant was not busy, so the lack of freshness and quality was not what we expected :(

Stopped in for an appetizer and a quick drink around "Happy Hour" We had fries and fried mushrooms served with ranch dressing. Fries were the typical sport bar kind and the mushrooms were done very well. Crispy batter and not mushy on the inside, plenty to share. We had already started eating them before the picture was taken. Wish they had some drink specials and if they had them we were not told about them. Did see some daily food specials though. Over all a good experience, will be back for sure!
