Our youngest son, Justin and his girlfriend Michelle took my Wife and myself to David's Bistro in Antioch tonight for my beautiful wife's birthday, which was this last Tuesday.
Antioch use to be a old stomping ground of mine growing up as a kid, my Dad and sisters use to work at Regal China over on North Avenue (gone along time ago).
To my review, Antioch is very lucky to have such a Great Establishment as David's Bistro and to have a Great business owner like David. Our 1st time here and I was amazed at every aspect of this small very quaint Bistro, and that everything was superb, from the service to the entire meal and scrumptious desert.
David, you got it right.
If any of you male species are looking for that special place to take that special Lady, this is it. I highly recommend it.
And by the way, thanks for your talented musical performance David and a great night out, we didn't want to leave.

My daughter and I had a girls night out! The food was wonderful. We had the roasted pepper soup, Chicken Marcella and Creme brulee! All delicious!! The staff was great as well. I highly recommend!
Food was fresh and delicious. Service was amazing. The chef came out and talked with every table and then played the piano. Glad we found this restaurant with amazing food and a great atmosphere.

I came here the first time with family for dinner and I have loved davids bistro since. We have had New Years here, which is an amazing time, my husband and I went to a cooking class and we spend most of our family birthdays here so it was a no brainer for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary here. I have never had something I didn't completely enjoy. David played piano and even sang. David is hilarious and his company is great. I fully recommend this restaurant to everyone!
Delicious as usual! Our waitress was absolutely delightful! I had one of the specials...seafood stuffed Sole. ..it was amazing!!! Also, sounds goofy to rate a salad but I always get the wedge salad and it never disappoints!!! The freshest salads ever!!
Never disappoints, great selection of drinks, appetizers, entrees and specials. Love this place. Can’t believe it never seems to be crowded but all the better to not have to wait for a table.

I had the Atlantic salmon and my husband enjoyed the Chicken Marsala. I'm still thinking about what a good meal it was.

David's Bistro is a hidden gem. If you want great food, wonderful ambiance and an owner that takes the time to know his customers this is the place. David often asks what the customer would like and either that night or the next visit it is on the specials. Great place to avoid the chain restaurants that are over Lake County.
This is an amazing dining experience, and the service is excellent. If you looking for a great place to have dinner or lunch ....check it out! They have gluten free items also.
Incredibly impressed. For some reason I haven't been here much in the past few years but have come multiple times and thoroughly enjoyed both meals since memorial day. Antioch doesn't deserve the Bistro but David seems to be ok with it!
My wife and I come here for our anniversary every year. We love the food and the atmosphere. Friendly staff...thanks for the amazing food!

Have been here before and really enjoyed the food, which is excellent and unavailable anywhere else nearby! Went to my first class last night and oh my was it wonderful. The meal was delicious, the service excellent and David was very entertaining. Will definitely be going again.
Been wanting to try this restaurant for some time, and tonight was my lucky night! Our server, Crystal, was very attentive and made THE best Cosmo! Husband enjoyed the portion size and flavors of the Chicken Parmesan. I tried the special: Crab Cake with Scallops in lemon cream sauce with mushroom Risotto ~ DELISH! And, we found room for the Cheesecake. No words. Simply must make a reservation and try it for yourself!
We enjoyed a wonderful meal before our theater show at PM&L next door. The service was attentive, food was flavorful and dessert was delicious! This is a nice go-to spot for dinner, drinks or dessert before your next show.

Always great food! Appetizers are out of this world. Biggest shrimp cocktail I’ve ever scene. David always comes out and personally thanks you for coming and asks how everything was.

Everything about this place is amazing. The food, the staff, the atmosphere, and David. David came out to introduce himself today to our table which really made us feel special. We were able to ask questions about meals we were debating on. Our waitress was so nice as always. Always made sure our drinks were full and checked in with us often. I always recommend this place to friends and family.
David's is consistently good food. We love to head here for date night. The cheesecake is house made and an excellent choice. The cooking classes are so much fun! David kept us laughing all night long. Try the soup! I've never been disappointed. A great date night restaurant.
This is the best restaurant in three counties. His menu is diverse and his food is out of this world. Best scallops ever. Great desserts. Nice little bar area to imbibe while waiting for your table. I have probably had everything on the menu over the years and every bit of it was delicious. If i could give him 10 stars i would. I highly recommend David's.
Very nice comfortable atmosphere. Food is delicious. They cater to your needs. David is not only an amazing cook but he actually cares. It will take only a moment for you to see that. I don't eat wheat,dairy or any sugars. ( Saved my life no kidding, do your research). No problem here! Gluten free and waitress really understood and helped my daughter and I order. It looks fancy with nice table cloths and well placed flatware. However, Any dress code is friendly accepted. They have been here for nine years and this was my first time patronizing. We will be back!

Chef David’s selection has an upscale flair and quality, while staying moderately priced. Sauces and glazes enhance the selections with an exceptional zest usually found only in the very best restaurants.
The ambiance is an eclectic amalgam of elegant and laid-back. An added flavor is Chef David’s humor, which you may experience as he visits with his clientele. Service is above average and attentive.
Parking in front on the street is limited, and parking in back entails a walk around to the front, the only real ‘con’ for the Bistro.
Our party of 4 visited at opening ( 4 pm ) on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. We were the only patrons for the first 45 minutes.

There are exquisite appetizer and dessert menus; however, our group did not order these items as the entrees are quite filling.
