I stopped at Gunklels bakery to buy some hamburger buns, but I didn't want alot.
They were so wonderful to make a package up of 6 buns instead of 12. The women that waited went out of their way to be helpful, kind and considerate. They make "real" whipped cream cakes.
I am from Chicago and we are spoiled with our fantastic bakeries. Gunkels is a shining gem. Wonderful bakery!!!!!
Delicious donut. Soft, moist, and tasty. Excited to try the Flax hamburger buns this weekend. Lady behind the counter was very nice.

Love this bakery ... we always go out of our way when we're in the area to pick up multiple loaves. Especially delicious are the creamy flaxseed bread and the cranberry blueberry (great for breakfast). They will even mail you your order if you phone them.
Lovely family run bakery!! Amazing flax bread and bagel products! Best donuts in town, and tons of selection for Christmas cookies!!
One of our favorite places to get fresh donuts from on the weekends. They are consistently producing quality baked goods, if you're in the area and haven't been here it is worth trying out.
My wife Joanie and I had the opportunity to sample the Flax seed Bread and Blueberry Bagels, Wow! This is Truly the Best Tasting Bakery Breads and Bagels we have ever ate. Phil and Carol are very devoted to their Wonderful Bakery. We are going to be Customers for Life!
Stopped by for my first time ever as I pass thru town a few times a year. Extremely friendly service and delicious sugar cookies and bread. Highly recommended...will definitely be back!
