While visiting Annapolis for my fathers funeral at the Naval Academy, I passed this restaurant and decided to stop in. What a wonderful visit to such a delightful place to dine. The service, atmosphere, view, and cuisine was the best. While eating such tasty delights as the crab dip and quiche we were able to look across the Severn to see the historical sites. If you don't stop here you are missing a wonderful taste of Maryland's finest!
Three of us had lunch there on Tuesday and it was delicious. We started off with oysters that were absolutely delicious and the deviled eggs. Then our lunch order was soft shell crab sandwich, a crab cake sandwich and the steak salad. Everyone loved their entree. Our waiter was so cute and efficient. We would definitely go back again.
Awesome! Only the 2nd time I've been & still -- only want the open-air patio! Great view, wonderful menu selections, sweet waitress, great bartender -- orange crush wasn't an offering, but he made them with blood oranges! Delish! The only thing that could've been better? If the Blue Angels flew (magically) by or if there was a glorious sunset!
I have to give the Severn Inn 5 stars for their professionalism. A server accidentally spilled a glass of water on me today at brunch. We all make mistakes, and they went above and beyond with their apologies and professionalism. The brunch was great as well.
Delicious food, gorgeous view and excellent service. We will definitely be back. Be here to get the sangria - it’s the best I’ve had in a long time.
Fantastic food, wait staff and View~~!! Great place for a meal with a view.
Love this place!!! It's my new favorite Go To Place in Annapolis! The peace, serenity and scenic view is just perfect! The food and staff are spot on!
We had a 6:45 p.m. reservation for four Sunday. We were seated promptly at a table with a great view. Our server and the food was great as well. Overall great experience! We will be back soon.
Great view. Great food. Great staff. I highly recommend this to locals and out of towers alike.
Very good service, great view and delicious food. Had the brunch. felt no pressure from the server to move on.
Beautiful waterfront view and chic restaurant, with delicious food. We came here for the Annapolis Restaurant Week 2022, and everything tasted very flavorful. The pork chop was my personal favorite. The key lime pie was one of the best I’ve tried. There was miscommunication regarding the eligibility of restaurant week menu for our visit but the restaurant was willing to honor the information I was given previously, which we appreciated. We will most definitely come back for the Sunday brunch buffet.
Our experience at this beautiful place has always been wonderful! This is the second time we have a large group and they have always been accommodating. Great, delicious food and super delicious desserts, so thank you Chef’s !! The service was also great and thank you specially to Connor who patiently answered our questions and took our orders. To all of you at the Severn Inn restaurant THANK YOU!
This place has the best view of the Naval Academy and the Severn River, and is one of the best waterfront restaurant in Annapolis, Maryland!
They have a charming outdoor seating area, and you can view the beautiful sunsets with the Severn Bridge and the US Naval Academy in the background.
If you have a boat, there is a small dock available.
Also, the restaurant has the best view for the Blue Angels air show during the Academy commissioning week.
The servers there are very attentive (Jeanna, Felippo and Keisha) and Jami, the manager is such a nice person!
The food is excellent. I just really want them to bring back on their menu, the focaccia bread and the citrus olive oil cake dessert. They are both outstanding!
Also, for those that unable to walk stairs, there is a ramp access.
Severn Inn has it’s Sunday brunch back. Easily the best brunch in the Annapolis area. It is perhaps the most expensive in the area, $55 per person, but you get what you pay for.
Just visited after a break from the COVID pandemic. Exceptional service. Attentive staff. Excellent food. My server Tisha, was prompt and thorough. Explained the locations of the food - seafood, hot food, and custom made inlets. The oysters on the half shell were clean, delicious, and succulent. They looked like local Chesapeake bay oysters. A mountain of hot crab dip, and large chilled shrimp, along with fresh Tuna, and an incredible desert bar. Omelette arrived piping hot and was well made and infused. Dirty plates were removed promptly and the Earl breakfast tea continually refilled.
A trip to the hot bar revealed wings, sausage, bacon and tender beef medallions, which melted in your mouth. Although it was a gray, chilly morning, the view of the Bay, and Naval academy was breath taking.
For those who imbibe there was an extensive list of beer, wine and liquor, along with endless Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas.
The Severn Inn is the best Sunday brunch in the Annapolis area. You won’t be disappointed here. Service, attentiveness, food quality and ambiance. This place has it all. The only thing I’d like to see, would be real log burning fireplaces. Than I will say if I died and went to heaven, it would be the Severn inn’s Sunday brunch.
We love dining here.... the food and service is always awesome and the atmosphere/location is perfect. We had the crab dip, meatball appetizer, and deviled eggs.
My special place hidden gem for Sunday brunch. Eggs, french toast and other items made to order in the kitchen. Other foods covered banquet style always hot and delicious . It wasn't jam packed when we went. We really enjoy the view and service.
Beautiful picture perfect waterfront dining overlooks the Naval Academy Severn River. Within walking distance to Jonas Park for pictures and after dinner walk. Excellent service and absolutely the best crab cakes I have ever eaten. I especially enjoy the 4th of July Buffet with many seafood choices, free parking, a live DJ and a magnificent view of the fireworks over the Severn River. Outdoor dining offers picture perfect dining experience. As a resident of Annapolis Maryland I have dined here many times. You will not be disappointed.
One of the best restaurants in MD! The wine was great, the food was cooked to exact temps and came out juicy, the appetizers portions seems relatively large and the wait staff did a pretty good job ensuring our evening out was a good one. I would recommended this place for a nice evening out, great view for the spring and summer time.
