Preserve

Preserve is a personal favorite of mine in Annapolis. The unique plates bring a breath of fresh air and an array of new flavors to downtown. I am never disappointed with a meal here no matter what I try. Another wonderful aspect of Preserve, one which I love to see restaurants do, is the menu changes constantly without straying too far from the original items. That way you can always get what you like, but not feel like you're getting the same thing every time. Not too mention the cocktails are wonderfully crafted, the staff is very sweet, and the atmosphere is cozy but sophisticated. This will continue to be a popular choice in my restaurant repertoire for Annapolis.

Everything was delicious! We had the pupusas, mushroom cheese"steak", and the duck two ways. The flavors were all excellent and we were really impressed by the service. We can't wait to return to try the chef tasting menu and their cocktails. While their selection of draft beers was small (4) they were all local and from some of my favorites.

Had our anniversary dinner here this afternoon. Having never been here before and since it was a special occasion, we went for the Chef's Choice prix fixe menu. It was one of the best meals I've ever had! My favorite dish was the kale--and I usually don't care for kale! Everything was incredible from our table by the open window to the attentive service to the amazing dessert. Thank you so much for a memorable anniversary. We'll see you again for sure!!

Soo, tonight was my first time going to this restaurant and we had an amazing time. The food was awesome and the drinks were amazing!! I had the bone in lamb shoulder, it was so good. My two friends had the mushroom cheese steak. They said it was really good!! Our server Nick, amazing!! I will definitely be returning to this spot.

I like Preserve. Like, really really like them! And I've had some absolutely incredible meals here. We have been coming here on and off since they opened up and there are things that have left their menu that we miss dearly. Their shirmp lettuce wraps and the potted goat cheese are things we still talk about. And their pickles. Oh Preserve, we love those pickles that you used to do. The ones that would come out in a dish and include things like a smoky carrot or a bloody mary celery pickle and I miss those because the pickles that we got this week were not the ones we were expecting. And that made me sad because I know of those other ones and I miss them. The crispy kale was good, but again not what I was expecting and seemed a bit greasy. I'll try again, but this was the first time we walked away not having loved our meal.
