The food was excellent and the dining room made us feel like we were in an old fashioned malt shop. Speaking of malts, the chocolate malt we had was the best I've ever had.

Love having such a wonderful place like Spurlock's here in Anna. Whenever our grandchildren visit us the first thing they ask is: "Can we go to the Malt Shop?" They love going & sitting inside & listening to the music their Nana & Pops grew up with. Malts, Shakes & Slushies are awesome at the Malt Shop, as well as everything else.

Double Hamburger, Fries, and a Ham slice/burger patty/Bacon/Egg Sandwich. Huge burger, Huge Sandwich, and thick fries! All tasted amazing. Got a Cherry Milkshake, too - YUM!!! Will definitely go back again. The young gal training the young man on 4/26/2022 (about 2pm) were so friendly & respectful, and seemed to enjoy their job (they were very busy, too!). So happy with the service and good old fashioned burger, shake, & fries we’ll be coming back soon. A great historical stop - a must! So glad Spurlock’s is still in business. What a gem in Anna, Texas!

So worth the wait! Staff was pleasant and welcoming from start to finish. Food was fresh, hot, and made to order. I ordered the Kids Steak Finger Meal which came with 3 Strips, Fries, Gravy, a Drink, and Fruit Snack in the CUTEST Paper Cadillac. All for under $5 bucks(I was going to order the Box Dinner but, 5 Strips, Fries, Gravy, Toast, Small Salad, and Drink was way too much food for me)! If you are ever out in the Anne area(any day except Sunday & Monday when they're closed) make it a point to stop for a meal or treat at this nostalgic slice of Heaven. You won't be disappointed!

This shop has a lot of high-school kids working there. Surprisingly they are all kind and helpful each time I visit. These kids are making the best food in Anna! They make everything fresh so it's always hot and delicious. I eat there several times a week. Sometimes they have long lines but well worth the wait

Funnel cake fries are a must to try here. Also the corn dogs are better than the state fair. Old school style burger, fries, and shakes. I've eaten here about 5 times since I moved out this way. Most people get their stuff to go although there is a little shack you can eat in next door.

Great old-school burger shack. Burgers are great, malts are perfect. There's even a small building on the side if you want to dine in. Definitely worth the visit, support a local place worth support!

Ranks up there! One of the best burgers and shakes ever! Great "oldies" atmosphere with very clean environment. So glad we stopped by on Highway 5.
