Food is overpriced Americanized versions of what they were with small portions, but could also be seen as fusion flavors. We got the soy garlic sauce for all dishes since one of my friends can’t eat spice, but the soy garlic sauce was way too sweet and didn’t have enough soy sauce nor garlic flavors, which made the dishes harder to finish. Staff were friendly and attentive and we even charged our phones while we ate haha!

There's so many better, more affordable Korean restaurants in Ann Arbor than Miss Kim's (I like Kang’s and Bewon!)
Pros:
- the food itself can be pretty good
- cool aesthetic
- great location in kerrytown
- a free carrot salad!
Cons:
- some of the employees were a little unfriendly
- way overpriced
- small portions
*Fish broccoli*: way too strong on the fish sauce
*Smashed potatoes*: so good! I would come back just for these
*Korean chicken sandwich*: pretty good but not the best Korean sandwich I've had

The food and drinks were delicious! Having so many gluten free options is a dream come true and I can’t wait to go back and try more. The service was great as well!

Updated 1 day after: I got food poisoned. I've spent most of my day today on the toilet and this was the only meal I had yesterday.
Original 2-star review:
Not worth the hype.
I'd regret for never going there. I regretted it after I actually visited.
Small plate of radish kimchi: nothing special but $5
Fried tofu: it's the signature dish there. Not bad.
Zingermans baguette: I know it's zingermans but this baguette feels very "mass-produced". The oven spring was almost non-existing. The crumb was not open. It is not properly leavened. Supermarket quality bread tbh.

Wonderful tastes and so great for a picnic out on a lovely Saturday. They included an extra side of the carrot salad which had such a unique and yummy flavor. We are both vegetarian and I require gluten free foods and everything was accessible for us to eat in peace. Try the smashed potatoes! Soooooo good

Great place, thankful they implemented a vaccination or negative test standard.
For me the Tteokbokki was the best thing I ate that night but everything was fantastic. Make sure to try the macha mix drink!

I like this place, but was disappointed that they no longer offer table service. Food was excellent, especially kimchi rice cakes. They had a couple good local beers. It was just a bit annoying to go to the counter where they don't know what beers are offered, then go to the bar to ask, and finally placing the order at the counter. I'll probably go somewhere else to relax and enjoy a $100+ bill for 2 in the future.

Great restaurant. Very clean. Great environment. Very friendly servers. The food was great, loved all of it. Plenty of vegetarian options, including this Tofu here. Everyone at my table thought the Smashed Potato appetizer was the best thing we tried.
