Delicious and fresh. Warm freshly baked flour tortillas served with beef, chicken or pork tacos. Fresh flour chips with guacamole too. All for a bargain price.
I've been going to Tasty Tacos since I was a child withu parents. In my honest opinion they have the BEST Chicken flour tacos I've ever had. The salsa they make is also top tier. I don't think anything or anyone will stop me from coming here for the rest of my time. Keep up the great work everyone!

I got the original puffy flour taco they are famous for. It was quite good. Ground beef, lettuce, shredded cheese on a puffy flour tortilla.
The salsa was more sweet than spicy. It added good flavor to the taco. Overall, I liked this place.

Tasty Tacos is a local chain that is always consistent, no matter which location you visit. My wife and I always order flour tortilla beef tacos and jalapeño poppers. Biggest mistake we make is order one taco too many. I ordered 3 and wife ordered two. So good, but our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Service is fast. This is our regular stop for fast Mexican food.
These guys make the best flour tacos around. It was $3.50 or $3.75 for a nice fat taco. I've ordered 2 before, but that's almost too filling. Now I usually get 1 taco and a single order of nachos. If you haven't tried this place you need to!
If you're a local you already know. If you aren't and are fortunate enough to be in the Des Moines area and hungry for some tacos look no further. This place has been consistently awesome since I was a kid and I'm almost 40. Ankeny is a "newer" location, but still the same product everyone expects and loves. I love their slogan as well...Nada es imposible
Always the best tacos. We live 3 hours away and just find excuses to go to Ankeny so we can get tacos. Very friendly and always fresh food.
