A friend told me about this place, and so today after I went out to vote, I wanted to try one of their sandwiches for dinner. I got the steak bomb, because it was near closing the owner David and I chatted for a bit. I told him I had not tried the sandwich before , So he also gave me a donut to try. I brought them home and the steak bomb was absolutely incredible. The quality of the meat, all the ingredients, the sweet caramelized onions, the small button mushrooms , And the bread was amazing. It is not served in the normal sub roll. It is more like half a loaf of Ciabata bread, that’s been the hollowed out and filled with the steak and cheese mixture. The flavor was sublime, the mouth feel was positively creamy with that beautiful soft shaved ribeye. I predict this will spoil you from any other steak and cheese I’ve tasted in this area. No comparison whatsoever. At $13.85 for a large, not cheap but so worth it. When you want to indulge in a steak and cheese might as well make it this good. My highest recommendation. This leads me to the free donut he gave me. It appeared as a simple, well-made, raised glazed donut. It was insanely light, With a wonderful fresh taste that I will definitely have to have more of. This is clearly a place that is 100% committed to quality, can’t wait to taste more.

Super nice couple runs this new place. I love their breakfast "special" sandwich on gluten free bread. The "special" is an egg scramble with spinach, shredded carrots and a few other things. I always add cheese and get the "oat" gluten free bread, which for a GF person is next to godly. It's made by Something Sweet Without Wheat Bakery (Arlington), which is known for their fresh baked goods and treats. I personally find it impressive that they are using such a high quality local bread company and offering 3-4 different GF bread choices. Somebody's Place is definitely more of a sandwich/breakfast stop than a full service restaurant. One important note: the owner gets up at 3 am every day to make the Portuguese style donuts, which come in a few varieties. I have yet to try these, but my kids love them and they are a big seller from what I can tell:). Happy eating!

Absolutely delicious! Somebody's Place is now one of my favorite places:) The un-chaotic atmosphere is very appealing, especially on a rare, laid back day off for me. I chose the chicken parm sandwich & home fries - fabulous, fresh & filling portions with tasty seasoning that I have never before had on potatoes. My apple spice donut was icing on the cake! The food, the personalized touches around the shop, & the friendly service makes this family run business feel like "going home again"...in a good way. You'll want to go, & maybe I'll see you there!

My husband and I stopped in form a late breakfast/lunch for the first time today. We will definitely be back! The donuts are delicious, best apple cider donuts around! The subs are big, and I love that they make the chicken tenders themselves! I would recommend the Chicken Parm sub for sure, Delicious! Everyone was friendly, the owner was awesome, answered all of our questions and chatted with us while we decided what to order. Highly recommend stopping in if you are in the area!

I can't believe it took me until now to try this place out. So close to my home and by far the best donuts I have ever had. The Malasadas are worth the trip alone👍👍👍

We stopped in on the way by hoping to get a decent cup of coffee and breakfast sandwiches. It was way more than decent. We'll be back to try lunch. Everything is made from scratch and to order. Had to take a dozen donuts to go and we were glad we did!

Their breakfast sandwiches are the best around. Real egg and muffins are SO good. I call ahead all the time to walk in and walk out - faster than the drive-thru coffee places. Such good sandwiches, for lunch too, and coffee.

My son, my dad and I stopped in for breakfast and ended up staying for lunch as well! The homemade donuts were so good, the chicken sandwhich was fresh chicken that was marinated in a delicious sauce and the fish chowder was filled with FISH not flour. Not to mention the coffee was some of the best I've had in awhile. We had an excellent experience.

Picked up some amazing donuts for my son’s birthday donut cake tower! So glad I found this gem! End result of our Arnie the donut cake tower pictured. The Whoopie pie donuts were the biggest hit.

Delicious home cooked sandwiches and sweet cold brew coffee at a fair price. I'll start off by saying that this is not the best sit down with your family breakfast place on a Sunday morning. Rather, it is a comfortable spot for a quick quality meal. I've tried out multiple sandwiches here and I would have to recommend the egg white sandwich on portuguese english muffin. Service is always quick and attentive. However, lack of a public restroom and poor cell reception didn't leave much for me to want to sit down and eat my meal here. Try it out if you want to grab a delicious breakfast sandwich in a beautiful location.

The best donuts I’ve ever had, and the house special breakfast sandwich is amazing on the Portuguese muffin with chorizo and provolone cheese. Make sure you grab a coffee to go with it. They use Rao’s coffee beans it’s rich and smooth with no bitterness or acidity. Lunch is amazing as well. The roast beef sandwich is my favorite, classic north shore style with cheese sauce and mayo, or if you like steak and cheese subs, they have the best anywhere fresh shaved rib eye, and their sub rolls are unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

My first time back in 3 years and wow did I miss this place. Ordered a large steak and cheese for my husband and I to split and a crispy chicken salad. Yhe crispy chicken is definitely homemade and the portion size was fantastic. My son loved his glazed donut. The man behind the counter was so pleasant and had a smile on his face which is great to see. Order was placed over the phone and ready within 15 minutes. This place is a gem! Looking forward to going back.
