Staff was friendly and helpful, Food was good. Chips and salsa, Mexican burger, taco salad and burrito were all good. After the new year this will be another place closed on Mondays.

This was my first visit to MI Casa Leon. As we entered the restaurant the staff was quick to welcome us and was very friendly. They brought chips and salsa to the table and we were nicely surprised. Although the salsa looked like it would be bland, but was very flavorful. The chips were light, crisp and fresh. I ordered the Steak Enchilada Verde dinner with rice and refried beans. I enjoyed the Enchiladas but I thought the rice didn't have a lot of flavor. I didn't care for the beans though. My husband ordered the Taco, Chile Rellano and pork tamale with beans and rice. He said the taco was like an American taco, the rellano was good but very small and he didn't care for the red sauce on his tamale. All in all, neither one of us walked away from the table hungry and would return if passing this way again and would try something different.

If you are ever near or even remotely near Anderson South Carolina, you NEED to stop in and have dinner. Their spinach enchiladas are to almost die for. Fresh everything! Excellent Margaritas.(only had one LOL). Great service. This is a must go to!!! Ate way to much. 👍👍👍

Great tasting food that's different from other Mexican restaurants in the area. They have their own style and it's very good. Staff is very friendly and facilities are clean. Highly recommend this place.

Great service and it was hopping. I got the Pollo con crema and black beans...and I highly recommend. Black beans were the best I've ever had anywhere. And I cleaned my plate. Best Mexican food I've had. Hope to come back next visit, thanks!!

Supurb value, and food & drink to match! Homey feel to the resturant interior and seating. The hostess who helped us was engaging and cordial.
Frickton of complimentary chips and (somewhat spicy) salsa was given WITH free refills.

Good food and good prices. The refried beans are a little too much pork flavor for my liking but everything else is very good. Service is impeccable!

So a wreck at exit 19 brought me to exit 14 on I-85 passed this place too many times. Very friendly people! The shrimp plate was awesome. The salsa was good and they brought me a spicier version. My judgement of spicy is more for the extreme so I thought it was ok. My steak Texanas t-bone was well done I like medium rare and always ask for medium or medium rare. I am told by the very nice young waitress that I have less chance getting sick lol. I ate it and it was good just too done for me no pink at all. This would not stop me from a return trip and the only reason I did not put a 5 star rating. Down to earth no language barrier and good food. Worth the stop!
