The wings were the best I've had in a very long time if not all time. The staff was very kind and professional as well, will revisit very soon.
AHHHHHMAZZZING....we got our wings Togo half hot momma and buffalo wings, I used the groupon to try them out and my family and I was really impress, they are by far the BEST wings I had in a while, I wish they had more location, considering we live on the south side but they are worth the drive :)
Ditto what Orange said. And I will add; our family loves the hot wings! This is a family owned buisness and feels like family when we eat there. We have had things delivered as well. Never a problem. Tje atmosphere is awsome and the owner works his butt off. Idk about the poor service I have read about, but myself and my family appreciate supporting local establishments and this is one to suport IMHO. Thank you Hood Wings!!!

Best Wings I've Ever Had. I had a coupon and wanted to burn some time to avoid the traffic rush on my way out of town so I swung by and gave Hood Wings a first time try despite the recent slew of negative reviews. When I first approached their store (tucked back inside the end of a corridor in Northway Mall) I wasn't quite sure what to make of the kiosk-style 'hole in the wall' however as soon as I approached the counter, I was greeted w/ smiles and friendly genuine characters. I requested an order of half the 'HOT' style and half of the 'Buffalo'. Upon selecting one of their 8 or so tables located in the Mall hall, I was very impressed with the quality of the furniture. About 5 minutes later the very nice lady brought my order to my table - from where I was comfortably watching the Lakers play the Celtics on the nice large overhead flatscreen they had mounted on the wall. The wings were made fresh, were hot to the touch and smelled delicious - very simply presented on paper in a basket w/ celeries, carrots, and the blue cheese dressing I requested. After eating the first of each variety and starting on the third wing, a gentlemen came out and asked 'how are your wings' and I replied 'these are the best wings I've ever had in my life'. They were so good, that halfway through my meal I went up to the counter and ordered a 25/25 order of HOT/Buffalo to take home and reluctantly share. $44.00 for 50 wings which was packaged and ready to go in less than 20 minutes. Family members must have liked the wings as much or more than I because there were none left the following morning.
I tried the "hot" wings, they were perfect IMHO. Crunchy skin, juicy inside, not too spicy- just right. I also had the homey fries. Very original! Like a cross between a potato chip and tater tot. Tasty and inventive. Good stuff.
Great!. My cousin surprised me and ordered dinner from Hood Wings. It was my first experience and it will not be my last. The food was delivered and it arrived hot, presentation was great, and taste was fabulous. The catfish was lightly breaded, crispy and very fresh tasting. A hit! She ordered the fried chicken wings and they were not spicy but delicious. I was pleasantly surprised with the side dishes as well. The amount was plentiful. I am impressed and looking forward to patronizing their establishment in the very near future.
Yoooooo! This place met all of my expectations! I’ve been craving catfish and this place has been on the list to try for months sooo gave it a go! Ordered 2 catfish baskets that came w/ fries and corn. Y’all the food was still pipping hot upon delivery. Like I popped open that box before the person that delivered the food drove off! The fish & fries were well seasoned! Almost like my mommas lol. & for good measure, I added a side of string beans and Mac & cheese to try. The string beans were full of flavor and seasoning. As for the Mac & cheese, it’s not grandma’s but it’ll do. Do notttt sleep on this delivery restaurant!
To get meal, do not go to Lil Babe’s thats listed on directions as there is no physical location. Instead, call the number listed on google to place an order and they can either deliver to you or meet you for food exchange.

Wings we ordered came breaded with a medium spice. Flavor was great!! Medium was a good temperature, if you like just a dash over mild.
Definitely made different than most chicken wings.

These wings are amazing ! Better than wing stop! We tried the mama inferno, hot mama, and funky monkey. I like how i can see the kitchen and celery sticks were fresh and crunchy.
These are the BEST wings in town. I have tried almost every flavor. And have NEVER had a flavor I don’t like. My cousin took me there the first time years ago and I won’t order wings anywhere else!! Join me in your BEST wing experience EVER!!!
So just an update, you call and place your order. You then go to the address listed, and your food is brought to you. My wings were good, just wished they were extra crispy like I requested. Give them a try I doubt you will be disappointed.
I bought 16 Yo Mama Chicken Wings and the owner cooked them to perfection. I went home and ate them. They were amazing. They tasted really crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. I thought that I must have gone to heaven! I have been buying from this owner since he started the business at the Northway Mall many years ago and he has since moved to a strip mall on Muldoon road about a month ago where Muldoon pizza is also located. I hope you can also give these wings a try. They are that good and are worth every penny. No kidding! Number one wing place in Anchorage.
Great experience from the start! I called to order and wasn't sure which chicken option was the best for my family, He was very pleasant and willing to help me chose the best combination of food as my kids are somewhat choosy on what they eat. We had a bad experience somewhere else and finally found our go to spot when ever we want to just order some chicken. Very friendly and helpful, the quality and taste of the food was great, he even gave us a complimentary item. My four year old is difficult when it comes to food, he even asked me "Mommy where did you get this from?" I said why you like it? Then he said it was the best chicken! We even got a kick out of the names on their menu. : ) ha ha! Love to see businesses like this flourish! I highly recommend this place, they even delivered when it was kind of late. We will be ordering from here again in the future.
