Hands down, one of my favorite places to eat! Some of the salads are second to none, such as the kale and quinoa and also the beat salad! My favorite two, so stuck on them it’s hard to try anything else. However; recently I’ve been trying their sandwiches and I do say, they are exceptional! Had the pastrami one day, and the smoked turkey another! All meals come with a sweet treat macaroon and bottled water. Great deal, and all very uplifting and healthy.
My fruity pebbles ice cream macaron was just amazing. Everything I tried was so good. They also have cupcakes and a variety of sweets. The carrot cake cupcake was the best I’ve ever had!! My salad was delicious. All of the macaron flavors were great, we can’t wait to come back on our next visit to anchorage! 🤩
Instead of a birthday cake that no one ever wants to eat, I decided to do a macaron tower from Sweet Caribou and boy was that a hit! Not only that, the customer service was outstanding and everyone really made me feel my business was important to them. You can also tell how passionate they are about their macarons and other culinary offerings. That kind of pride translates into an all around amazing experience from order to bite after yummy bite! I'm definitely forgoing a cake from now on and just using Sweet Caribou as my provider of sweets and treats!
Have been coming here for lunch quite regularly, I love the huge sandwiches! It comes with a bottle of water and even a mini chocolate macaroons. The sandwiches are so big that I have to take the other half home with me sometimes 😆 I can usually eat the whole thing if I’m hungry enough though.
The salads here are also super yum! Cant really go wrong here and they’re working on expanding seating.
Also the desserts/baked goods are *chefs kiss*

2021- update
I love the store front expansion that they’ve done this year. Today I drove Just to come here and grab some Macarons. I love the cookies and cream, Fred Flintstone, red velvet, marshmallow chocolate, almond joy, birthday cake, root beer float, peanut butter and jelly, bananas Foster, rose lychee, Blood orange, maple bacon, Earl Grey, strawberry lemonade, & chocolate mint.
They do have seasonal/holiday flavors, i wont them all but My favorites are:
Pumpkin cheesecake, strawberry rhubarb, Neapolitan, ginger bread eggnog, peppermint bark, & chocolate covered strawberry.
I really enjoy when I get to see the owner inside the shop he’s often doing deliveries but during lunch rush you can sometimes see him in there. He’s such a nice guy I really like him and his staff are always very friendly fast and knowledgeable. Which is why I will always come back. Often my family will give me for Mother’s Day or my birthday a gift card to go to Sweet Caribou or they pick up my favorite because they know what I like to come so many times. OK novel over
2019- The best. Amazing. Great price. Desserts for everyone i love the blondie cupcake. But my Fav is macaroons i have gotten them from all of their past pop up stands such as: Sears mall, Saturday market, the state fair and now their own store front. They have come alo g way. They do custom orders and the owner is such a friendly guy. Worth the hour drive from valley just to go their.
I can’t leave a picture because I ate all 6 of my macarons on my flight home to Florida. James was SO nice! His macarons and hospitality were the perfect ending to a fun Alaskan vacation. Do yourself a favor and visit Sweet Caribou.
